They can do that by keeping the spread at +1 but they don't need +odds this high. And they sure don't need a +126 money line in that case either.

Check out +1 +116 (Pinnacle) vs +2 -110 (available at several books). That one point is sure not worth 26 cents. And the half point more to the money line of +128 is not even close to 12 cents either.

There's +2 -110 available at several books so we're talking one point being worth 26 cents difference. They are basically letting a Browns backer sell a point for 26 cents and at the high maximums of Pinnacle.

Even +2.5 is not worth a 26 cent difference from -110. Half point from +1.5 to +2 or +2 to +2.5 in the NFL is worth less than 5 cents.

Another way to look at it is this. The Greek is playing the Wong teaser protection game also. Their line is +1 +100 on the Browns right now. So that means Pinnacle is offering 16 cents better than The Greek.

I see a couple of other lines where there is an 11 cent difference between Pinnacle and Greek. But this 16 cent difference with the Browns is the biggest for the week and means they want serious Cleveland money.

The half point calculator showed that the difference between 1 and 2.5 is about 15 cents. They are putting that difference in for the favored Chiefs making them -1 -126 compared to -2.5 -110. So basically, they offer the same price on the Chiefs as you can get anywhere else. But the price on the Browns is way more generous than elsewhere - essentially the entire reduced vig is being offered on the Browns side and none on the Chiefs side.
