Sounds great. But how are we going to transfer 1000 points as non-pros?

Sounds great. But how are we going to transfer 1000 points as non-pros?
damn, ur right...(2 points a day for the next year-and-a-half:duh:)...maybe a good idea to deposit $200 right away into one of the square books on sbr's list that we may not already have...
either that, or realize that in the end it's basically a "bragging rights" (aka. a "dick-wagging") contest...but a stake sure makes it more fun
if u both have a moneybookers/Skrill account ready to roll then it's dead easy to send real $, not points
sanity returns...a symbolic (and easy to ship--even for non-pros) 60 (rather than the crazy number i mentioned)...more appopriate to the seriousness of the squabble
...and probably no need to limit the number of flat 1% (of starting-roll) parlays played either...any (3-team min to 6-team max) parlays available at sbr's book are kosher...as long as u post'em right away (say, within 15min max) of when you decide to play'em
...and, come to think of it, maybe a shorter time period, say just two weeks would suffice to determine the winner of the challenge...and be more in keeping with the stakes involved (so any thread-closing/-vacating can be done by the end of April)
...more importantly tho'...since the key thing you're playing for involves just you two...if someone else were to come in either first or last it'd screw up the decisiveness of the result ...so i'd suggest this remain a two-man parlay-off
Agreed. You want to set up the thread for us fitguy? Just copy/paste the rules from in here in a new thread. We'll both check in and agree to the rules and then it's off. You can just swing through whenever to check numbers or whatever. Shouldn't be too complicated. Plays up in a sec.

i dont care if its just the two of us, just thought it might make it fun for those who followed the thread.
There could be 1000 other players it still between him & I but, like I said it doent rally matter to me, as long as the rules are set clearly.
IF fit guy sets up a new thread for this challenge I will post in there after this is done.
u guys gay. jay keep dogging him and dj keep defending like a boss. much better imo
reatrds like this are why I wanted to open up the challenge!

Shootout loss too... Let me know if you see fitguys thread anywhere. I assume he'll post it in here but if not...
Ive searched havent found anything yet..
Yeah, I watched the game.
It was a coin toss.
Like I said I dont know a thing about soccer, but I wonder if the red wigs arent going to go on a run this week.
Also I dont see the edge in that game. Proline has St Lou at 1.60 & most books offer the 1.70 or 1.75 decimal odds.
Or do you just like the Blues on a hunch?
Correlation...
To put it simply: when Detroit wins, the total goes over. When St. Louis wins, the total stays under. Just their styles of play I guess but it's been a major trend this year.
sorry for the delay guyz...(i FINALLY figured out how to start a new thread:+clueless:duh:)
will start it in Players' Talk obviously...and will call for more participants...u two can settle ur points (and your other conditions) at the end according to who finished higher...but if we get more participants it might be constructively fun to see the distribution (and just what proportion of players manage to actually show a profit with parlays...which have a bad rep, altho' theoretically they should have the same eV as the straight plays chosen...but with a MUCH higher variance)
i'll aim to run it from April 9 to 29 inclusive (a full 21-days/3 weeks of plays)...and it should be all tied up by end of April
are you in fitguy???!
The under in St. Louis is a lock.
sure, and i'll call for more thru the "SBRContests" facility...u have some experience with this, i think...seems that with more than two will have to go off as a "League"...anyhow, i'm trying to submit it now

2 months and you have failed to show any profit. Are you going to try to argue with me on this comment?
