RIP to the fan who fell to his death in Arlington.
Josh Hamilton tossed a foul ball to a fan, the fan eagerly reached over the railing to grab it and fell to his death.

ouch. that can really screw a guy up. well, i guess the dead guy is REALLY screwed up.
Holy shit. That is absolutely fukking terrible. Poor guys young son was sitting right next to him.
Guy was a firefighter from Brownwood, Texas. What a fukked up deal that is.
looks bad, bad way to go out!
they were laughing about it
Who thinks the guy's family will own a small piece of that stadium?Quote:
Last July at Rangers Ballpark, a fan fell 30 feet from the second deck of seats down the first base side while trying to catch a foul ball. That fan, Tyler Morris, suffered a fractured skull and sprained ankle.
Wow, That's horrible. Any moment can be your last. Best of luck to you gents.
That sucks for the announcers now.
wow man hope hes not really dead:+clueless, tough/sad to watch that!!!
Wow that's crazy.. Really unfortunate event.. Really feel bad for the kid and the family..
Maybe they could put some kind of netting so it doesn't happen in the future.. The guy just wanted a ball for his kid..
hope sbr takes this off and youtube as well, announcers are laughing at him, have some class youtube and sbr
Thats horrible :( and that was prob his son watching him fall to his death
What happened???? This happened today?!?!?!?!? Where can I see it?
This is really sad. Back to back years someone has fell and got seriously hurt at the ballpark in Arlington.
R.I.P. to the fan.
Thats awful, worse part yet his son had to witness the whole event
Wow what a shame. My condolences to the family. That is such a sad way for someone to pass, I hope the kid is holding up alright. RIP.
Not at all dude show some respect. Maybe if he fell 3 feet onto the field it would be funny but nothing is funny about falling 20+ feet onto hard concrete head-first. That wasn't funny at all and even if the guy walked away from it it still wouldn't have been funny. How could you laugh at someone taking a head-first 20 foot dive onto concrete?
Sad
Didn't look that bad either, he must have fallen directly on his head.
UnfukkinrealQuote:
After the game, the team, including Hamilton, was told what happened.
"I think as any of us would be, Josh is very distraught over this as the entire team is," Ryan said. Ryan added that the Rangers are "very heavy-hearted about this."
Rangers manager Ron Washington said: "Josh is fine -- outwards he's fine. I guess he's got to deal with it in his own way."
Washington said he will decide on Friday whether Hamilton needs a day off after what happened Thursday night.
A fellow fan said he was chatting with the man earlier in the game and that he was a firefighter from Brownwood, but didn't know his name.
"I tried to grab him, but I couldn't," said Hargis, a 50-year-old from Hawley, Texas, who was sitting beside the falling fan. "I tried to slow him down a little bit. He went straight down."
Several fans, including Safawna Dunn, said paramedics quickly got to the fan and took him off in a stretcher.
"He was conscious," Dunn said.
The visitor's bullpen at the stadium is in left-center field. Athletics reliever Brad Ziegler was in tears after the game when he found out the man had died.
"They had him on a stretcher. He said, 'Please check on my son. My son was up there by himself.' The people who carried him out reassured him. 'Sir, we'll get your son, we'll make sure he's OK,'" Ziegler said. "He had his arms swinging. He talked and was conscious. We assumed he was OK. But when you find out he's not, it's just tough."
I can't even imagine.
Damn. I fukkin hate it for that kid really bad. The guy was conscious as they were carrying him out on a stretcher, and all he kept asking was that someone please go check on his son.
Fukk. Ain't life a bitch sometimes?
yoy could tell the way he fell it was curtains, how fuckin stupid are those announcers, unbelievable.
Wow what a bunch of retards the announcers are, its not like he fell 3 feet.
another thing who designed that stadium total retards
unfukkingreal
Thats terrible...the worst part about it is his son was right next to him watching the whole thing
fuk him he deserved to die
1 less, i dont give a fuk pal
wowwwwwwwww thats really sad. RIP..............................
Im seriously angry right now
absolute tragedy, so brutal to think about, why didnt the rangers take precautions after last year's fall?
heart goes out to that young kid
He didn't even mean to do it.....poor guy and of course poor fan who died as a result of it too.
Apparently Connor Jackson of the Oakland A's hit a foul ball which Hamilton picked up and tossed to some guy in the stands at the Rangers game tonight. The fan reached over the railing to try and catch the foul ball and eventually fell over and landed 20 feet down into a camera booth where he landed on his head and died on the spot. The deceased fan's little boy was there and watched the whole thing too.
Pretty terrible stuff. My guess is Josh Hamilton will be hitting the booze tonight.

uhh...thats not josh's fault at all. people are really imbeciles at the ballpark when it comes to foul balls. You got dads dropping their daughters, a woman tearing a ball out of a little girls hand then high fiving her friend, and then you got this.
what is it about foul balls that makes otherwise smart, reasonable adults act like complete imbeciles? Every time a foul ball is hit there's a mad scramble for it like it's made of gold. I can go to sports authority and buy a baseball right now.
let this be a lesson to you, if a ball is hit your way...LET IT GO.
Announcers where laughing like douchebags I am sure they feel horrible now! This is one of the most terrible things I have ever seen poor guy dies right in front of his son.
Josh will never be the same again.
wow. fuk it, it's a baseball. josh is going to do drugs tonight. i'm serious, he might be in trouble because of his drug addiction past.
Strange that the guy that fell from the 2nd deck last year was also a fire fighter.
