Default The Next Attack Upon Barak Will Be - - - -

. . . by attacking his military affairs advisor, Tony McPeak.

McPeak is one of those out-of-favor guys who actually put the interests of the USA above the interests of other countres, even one our famous "friends."

The attack on Obama via his former pastor more or less fizzled, after the new "great communicator" made his speech on that matter.

But there are VERY POWERFUL entities in the country (tho not necessarily of it) who are enormously fearful of Obama getting the nom, and thus an election away from sitting down for dinner in the White House.

What entities? No, not the KKK. Those guys are pitiful, not powerful. Not the old conservatives. They're too - uh - polite.

Neoconservates? Hey, now you're talkin'!

Yeah, with their eyes on the prize of perpetual war and a never-ending US military presence in the ME, they have Obama in their sights.

And their next Target of Opportunity is likely McPeak, former AF Chief of Staff. He may well be in for a big neocon smear.

A statement by McPeak that may come back to haunt him (free speech exists only in theory among the power entities):

“Let’s say that one of your abiding concerns is the security of Israel as opposed to a purely American self-interest, then it would make sense to build a dozen or so bases in Iraq. Let’s say you are a born-again Christian and you think that Armageddon and the rapture are about to happen any minute and what you want to do is retrace steps you think are laid out in Revelations, then it makes sense. So there are a number of scenarios here that could lead you in this direction. This is radical....The secret of the neoconservative movement is that it’s not conservative, it’s radical. Guys like me, who are conservatives, are upset about these neocons calling themselves conservative when they’re so radical.”

Black Guy Asks Nation For Change

March 19, 2008 | Issue 44•12

CHICAGO—According to witnesses, a loud black man approached a crowd of some 4,000 strangers in downtown Chicago Tuesday and made repeated demands for change.

"The time for change is now," said the black guy, yelling at everyone within earshot for 20 straight minutes, practically begging America for change. "The need for change is stronger and more urgent than ever before. And only you—the people standing here today, and indeed all the people of this great nation—only you can deliver this change."

The black guy is oddly comfortable demanding change from people he's never even met.

It is estimated that, to date, the black man has asked every single person in the United States for change.

"I've already seen this guy four times today," Chicago-area ad salesman Blake Gordon said. "Every time, it's the same exact spiel. 'I need change.' 'I want change.' Why's he so eager for all this change? What's he going to do with it, anyway?"

After his initial requests for change, the black man rambled nonstop on a variety of unrelated topics, calling for affordable health care, demanding that the government immediately begin withdrawing troops from Iraq, and proposing a $75 billion economic stimulus plan to create new jobs.

"What a wacko," Schaumburg, IL resident Patrick Morledge said. "And, of course, after telling us all about how he had the ability to magically fix everything, he went right back to asking for change. Typical."

"If he's really looking for change, he's got the wrong guy," Morledge added.

Reports indicate that the black man has been riding from city to city across the country, asking for change wherever he goes. Citizens in Austin, TX said they spotted the same guy standing on the street Friday, shouting far-fetched ideas about global warming. Cleveland residents also reported seeing him in a local park, wildly gesticulating and quoting from the Bible. And last week, patrons at the Starlight Diner in Cheyenne, WY claimed that the black man accosted them while they were eating, repeatedly requesting change.

"I saw him walk in and I knew he was headed straight for our table," said mother of three Gladys Davies. "He just stood there smiling at us for a while, and asked how our food tasted. Then he went and did the same thing at the next table over. The nerve of some people."

Those who encountered the black man Tuesday said he engaged in erratic behavior, including pointing at random people in the crowd and desperately saying he needs their help, going up to complete strangers and hugging them, and angrily claiming that he is not looking for just a little bit of change, but rather a great deal of change, and that he wants it "right now."

"I'll be honest, when that black guy said he would 'stop at nothing' to get change, it kind of scared me," local mechanic Phil Nighbert said. "Just leave me alone."

Though many were taken aback by the black man's brazen demands, some, such as Jackson, MS's Holly Moser, sympathized with him. She gave the black man credit for boldly standing up and asking every last person around him for change.

"I told him I'd give him some if I saw him later, even though I probably won't," Moser said. "Very nice man, though."

Most, however, ignored his requests.

"I'm a hardworking American who pays his taxes, and the last thing I need is some guy on the street demanding change from me," said William Overkamp, a Springfield, IL gun-shop owner.

He added, "What he really needs is a job."

The Onion is often pretty amusing. Tho,like with this piece, they went on too long.

Satire is hard to write, and the tragedy of it, so to speak, is that when it's good it also has to be short.'

OK, Sham, win or lose I'll fish your statement back up an post it here, in November (or sooner, if the Clinton machine rolls Hil into the nom)

Default If his bill sponsoring record in Illinois hasn't destroyed him, what could?

The guy sponsors a bill that allows doctors to kill living babies that made it through late term abortions that were botched,he voted for passing every anti gun ownership bill and he votes for armed robbers being able to sue homeowners when the home owner protecting his family injures the burglar in his house as a result of self defense.

Why hasn't anyone in the socialist media asked Obama these questions at an open forum????????????????Is this the bizzarro world that Seinfeld always brings up where everything is opposite of what it should be or is this George Castanza'a theory where you got ahead doing the opposite of what makes sense and you come out ahead?

Fair enough.. I'll throw my betting ticket(s) up since this is an all in play but I wonder if they will let me parlay his winning with his assasination...? I would have to wait four years for that to pay out though...

OK.
If he gets the nomination, and then someone tries to pop him, it will 100% guarantee be blamed on the kKK, or someone with that mindset.

Should someone put him in their sights I will agree it will be "racists," but of a someone different kind than the ones we've seen in the US

To me, it's a matter of overriding issues. Few will be in agreement with any one candidate on all the issues.

The war, and the US's one-sided involvement in the ME, is the overriding issue. When a war is going to cost 3 trillion bucks, that's also a big neg for the economy.

I doubt that all, or evem a majority, of the people who are going to vote for McCain agree with his desire to give a de facto amnesty to millions of illegals.

Actually as much as I hate to admit it. Hilary Clinton is a very smart women. She would prob do a very good job of running this country except on a few minor issues.

I don't want to pay for poor people to be forced into buying health care. Its not my job to pay for it. I pay enough for my own even with benefits... Just my 2 cents there.

But Hilary is just a terrible communicator. Being able to communicate seems to be half of the battle with politics. Thats why slick willy was slick willy... (bill stay away from monica plz). I plan on voting for Obama btw.

But our Oil crisis is just that an OIL CRISIS and GW BUSH ain't stopping that now... Maybe a Democrat can, help but its too late if you ask me. This Bush is the worst president I've ever lived through. He went to war in Iraq because Sadaam put a hit out on his dad.

Actually, we dont' have an OIL CRISIS, what we have is a YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DRILL FOR OIL ON US FEDERAL LAND OR OFFSHORE WATERS CONTROLLED BY THE US FEDERAL GOVT issue. There is a moratorium on exploration and drilling for oil on 90% of federally owned land and 98% of offshore waters. The DemoCong pass this moratorium every year (it has to be voted on annually). The DemoCong also have put large proven reserves with working wells off limits by declaring the area where the reserves are as a "wilderness area", "wildlife refuge", or something else. Gull island has more proven reserves than north slope. And there will never be a single drop of oil drilled on gull island because the DemoCong declared gull island a wildlife refuge for seagulls. This was after the company that developed north slope struck oil on gull island after investing hundreds of millions of dollars.

You can't make up stuff this stupid.

Barack who?

I figured the thread starter didn't know how to spell his name. None the less: No way does Hussein get elected to the POTUS. You'd have to be a complete moron to think that happens.
