Polls show McCain with big lead
http://rasmussenreports.com/public_c..._tracking_poll
51-41 over Hillary. 49-42 over Hussein Obama
Anyone who fancies McCain can bet him at eHorseX at 1.74-1. Look under Politics >Republican Party to win. These odds could change.

No, it's actually a bet on the Republican Party to win. It's much better than what you can get at Matchbook at the moment which is Republicans at 1.3-1 and McCain alone at 1.5-1. Of course the main problem is having money tied up for nine months on a low odds prop.

The dog is probably always the best choice in political props. Might not be a bad bet.

i am loading up on mccain +150. while the muslim and the she devil slug it out, mccain has already making an international presence. he went to UK and met with gordon and went to the middle east. don't under estimate the red states.

i just can't stand all these media are all covering osama and hilary. they're calling the superdelegates the king deciders. osama might seem like a queeky clean candidate now, but when the primary is over, all his gay lovers will come out on youtube.

As much as I keep seeing Leiberman on tv this week with McCain, Im guessing he is going to be the VP running mate.

Yikes. Force feed the conservatives liberalism, I like it.
Unfortunately, it also means 4 more years of a failing economy if/when McCain wins.

Hillary may have well won this election for McCain imo. She and her staffers have pulled some dirty tricks that have really bloodied Obama far worse than McCain ever could have. I think we see Obama get by a really divided convention, but with enough baggage and ill feelings that many Hillary backers jump on the McCain bandwagon for the victory. And if Hillary wins, needless to say there will be more than enough sour grapes to hand McCain his fair share of Obama voters.
This has and is playing out like a dream for McCain. The best thing that could happen if you're for a Democrat is to have this primary end in the shortest amount of time possible, which is looking highly unlikely at this point. GL to all with political futures tickets

McCain is a walking skeleton. And he's only going to get slower and more awkward. If he's still alive come November I'll fade him. May as well make some coin from this spectacle.

Polls also indicate the majority of people want the U.S. out of Iraq. McCain plans to continue this policy. Something has to give.

Reagan was a walking corpse during his second term. People still voted for him in a landslide victory over Mondale. When it's down to 2 candidates, sometimes people are more voting against one of the candidates than for a candidate. That's my theory with Mondale, as well as guys like Dole, Kerry, Gore, etc. None of those guys really seemed like good leaders. Not that GW is that great, it was more that his opponents were just that much weaker. This election will go the same way. Sure McCain might suck, but there's plenty of people that hate Hillary as well as people that will show up just to vote against Obama.
As for Iraq, the polls were about the same 4 years ago, and we still reelected Bush. I didn't believe it was possible back then, but now it almost seems like a non-issue. People do still have concerns about Iraq, but they are much more concerned about the economy right here at home, it's a mess.
