They should definitely have more respect for the President, what are they teaching these kids these days?

What respect did Obama show the Boy Scouts? He was invited to speak to them for the 100th anniversary of the Scouts. Obama turned them down....to speak on.....The View.

Obama picked The View over the Boy Scouts.....WTF???

Remember hearing in the news this past week how Obama had 'pending engagements' and couldnt attend this event...even as he had been hyping it for awhile and saying he would...turns out...his events are more personal trips and fundraisers....heard of one where he went like 6 miles by Marine 1 on our dime..to sell this 'summer of recovery' bullshite...days after May and Junes' jobs numbers were revised to show yet more negativity. So I don't blame these kids for booing....just because they;re in brown shirts by coincidence...doesn't mean they are Obama's borwn shirt squads.

Obongo tells the Boy Scouts of America who are celebrating their 100th anniversary, his schedule will not allow him to attend. He then makes a last minute decision to appear on The View because his polling with women voters are in the toilet. What a phony this guy is.

Yeah, Obama isn't the first president to never go to a Boy Scouts Jamboree.

He is the first one to choose "The View" over the Boy Scouts.

And now the story is out there...he decided to shoot a round of hoops in front of visiting some of the wounded vets....good call jackass! Pretty sure he's got the NBA vote locked down....maybe he should try to make some headway in the military family block.

What are you talking about? He and NBA stars [Past and present] played basketball at Fort McNair military base to entertain wounded military soldiers. WTF is wrong with that?

Stop defending this lying, dishonorble, despicable, pompous, narcissistic, neanderthal.

That interpretation is precisely WTF is wrong with that enormous BS. He invited those stars, who unlike him have actual talent, because he wanted to spend time with them, to have fun, play a game and then have a barbecue. Unlike for other average people, he could make his dream happen. That is what he did, you can't blame a guy who can afford the fun he wants. However, some PR genius decided to make this "a charity" event.

I am disgusted how everybody bought into this and nobody in the media called this BS for what it is. At least, I have not seen otherwise. How many people did he entertain? Ten? Were they really entertained to make their time worth? Nobody knows, the press were not let inside. Having fun while playing physical game in front of wounded soldiers? How less considered can this get? Did they broadcast him eating the barbecue so that the starving kids in Africa could watch that? The media could sell that for him being a role model and an inspiration... Charity my ass, how dumb you humans are.

You didn't answer my question at all. What is wrong with entertaining wounded military soldiers, letting them meet the President as well as other people who are pretty well-known in American culture?

Nothing is wrong with that, it just did not happen on this occasion. No one have seen those entertained troops who just met with the Prez and the players. Nobody knows how many there were. What we do know for a fact is that those troops were not invited to the barbecue party afterwards. Another fact is that wounded soldiers are usually found in VA hospitals. They do not get to much entertainment while laying in bed. Visiting them and giving them a chance to meet those people would make sense, what Obama's PR team did not make any. However, it turns out that whenever people hear "for wounded troops" the brains go off and they will believe any BS that goes along with it.
