sad isn't it?
out of more than 100 million possible choices, that is the best we can do. perhaps if ron paul got some tv time or coverage? he has won just about every straw poll and debate. and been buried at every turn by the media. if he keeps raising money like he has been, there's no telling how far he can go. we could have the first universally loved president since jfk. the only candidate that's anti-war, anti-torture, anti-rape, and anti-murder. the only one that loves the people in this country more than the corporations and foreign interests milking us. |

Media sucks and won't give anyone any attention other than the chosen few.
It sucks that you have to raise a 100 mil to have a chance |

Other than all the neat stories his daddy told him, what was Dubya's foreign relations experience in 1999? And going to Mexico for a taco and strawberry Jarritos soda pop while serving as Texas governor doesn't count.

I'll have to try one of those, GV. I grew up a Buck Orange soda man back in the old day, but love Jarritos Strawberry now, That's what I usually get for dessert at this local Tex-Mex joint when we go -- three cheese enchiladas, couple of Carta Blancas and a strawberry soda water on the way out the door. Oh, and sometimes a big ol' pecan praline. But that's it.

If you pass through Texas sometime, I'll take you there. I'll just submit it as one of The Prick's expenses so we'll both eat and drink free. Just don't tell the sonofabitch
![]() EDIT: P.S. - - Oh, and I forgot to mention that sometimes we have the regular nachos, large order, and a bowl of queso to break up the picante that we're dipping a No. 3 washtub of tortilla chips into.

Uh-huh. Well, feel free to take your time doing that 'research.' I do understand how you're a busy man these days. But until you return to refute this with hard evidence and verified research, we'll assume Dubya had somewhere between very, very little experience to no experience at all with foreign affairs and relations.

I see that censorship is alive and well at SBRForum Willie Bee.
There is no way that southerners are going to stand for lesbian Billary to be elected president. There will be a massive turnout of southern voters who will vote for anyone who has a chance of keeping the putsch from happening. Billary being elected President will be an unmitigated disaster for this country. If the lesbian is elected, get your black arm bands and your paramilitary uniforms ready because if you thought Bush the Lesser was a fascist, he is an amateur compared to what Billary plans to do to this country. |

I'm not excited by any of them, GV. If it was up to me, someone like Colin Powell would be our prime minister, the whole of Congress would be sent to sea in a very leaky boat with nary a life preserver, and we'd start anew.
I do like Paul, don't like the leading Dems (Hillary, Obama, Edwards). Don't like Thompson, except on Law & Order and in one of those Die Hard flicks.

Don't forget Gore. He is only running slightly behind obama in betting on intrade. There is a fairly large grassroots movment working on a gore run and he has not taken himself out of the race yet.
He wouldn't need to have a huge infastructure set up already to win as EVERYONE knows who he is. Just the thought of him running puts a smile on my bush hating face. |

Rudy will be a great president. Hes a natural leader and when he was mayor you didn't see any bums in Manhattan. I'm not sure what he did with them.

why did the yankee fans boo him then? even during god bless america?
and why do the firefighters feel so strongly against him and his 9/11 campaign that they have protested numerous times? |

Rudy said he is cheering for the red sox in the 'series.
He also told a school girl that we are 'prepared' for an alien invasion. I think Edwards is starting to emerge as a strong 'ideas' guy recently. He actually has some interesting positions on things... I've spent a lot of time looking up Bill Richardson - he's also got some very good stuff on his positions and I'm leaning his way now. But as a bettor, outside of Ron Paul, a vote for Republicans right now is about the dumbest thing you can do. I think Hillary is also anti-gambling right now - I need to look into positions more from the dems, but I can assure you, all the Reps are 'anti'. |

As you all know, American always love changing, new things...so first female president or first back president has very good chance. Obama is out so Mrs. Cliton will be next US President in this senario

I'm going for Rudy. I think he would be a good president but most importantly I pull in a dime if he gets the party nomination.

Unless the US is hit with a major economic recession before the 2008 elections, I would put my money on Giuliani or some other Republican to win in 2008.
Republicans want Hillary to win the Democratic nomination and it will be a muck fest once she wins. The Democrats are way behind the Republicans in terms of political strategy, and I think most Americans still feel Democrats will just raise taxes and promote liberal agendas - regardless of the disaster in Iraq. IMO, most people have tuned out the process for now, and will wait till next summer to really evaluate who is running - then the real front runners will emerge. I'm just voting Nader again....all the candidates save Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul are major losers and indentured to corporate interests.

If he were white and had a different name he'd be the winner. |

I have wanted a Democrat in the next time, too much Bush for me. I do not care for the choices. Hillary can't beat several Republicans due to her built-in negativity, Obama or Edwards can't win. None of the previously mentioned three have enough experience. I guess I will hold my nose and vote for Gore, hope he gets in the race.
