Yes, anyone who watches the guy and thinks the condescending know-it-all bastard actually has anything of value to say.

Glen Beck is one nauseating sob, isn't he?
Could listen to him for about 18 seconds.

You got me beat by a full eight seconds, Danet, which is a lifetime if you're riding a bull. But then, most of them sicken me, just can't stand how the talking head being entertaining is more important than presenting any real news. I watch Jim Lehrer from time to time, listen to the BBC when I can, and get most of my real, hard-hitting honest news from The Daily Show

He's pretty annoying and wishy wash at best...most times he just spews nonsense.
However, Beck is dangerous b/c 1) he believes in everything he says and 2) there are people who actually believe him

Buddy: Lots of people believe him thus we end up with
politicians like Bush and his buddies.
Willie: Can't beat Lehrer, I also like K Olbermann for laughs. But
the guy is pretty sharp. I believe he is an Ivy League graduate.

Good point, cap. Goes to show the dangers in assuming anyone is necessarily wise, or not, just because of the college they attended.

There are Ivy league graduates and then there are Ivy
league graduates. Bush was granted admission because
of daddy. He couldn't graduate on his own from a good
Junior College.

I recall a good friend's father always giving me a hard time about going to Texas A&M. "Aggies are stupid, dumb Aggies." The usual stuff. Dude was pretty smart, book wise, and was always going on and on about what a great school Rice was (which it is).
Over at his house one time and he's messing around with a lamp. Says he's taken it apart but for some reason just can't get the sucker to work.
Being the dumb Aggie that I am, I walked over and plugged it in. Pretty sure he's one of the nimrods who has been voting for Bush

Funny how he was smart enough to get elected to the most powerful position in the world though; did daddy do that for him as well?

Are you implying that had George H.W. Bush never held public office, never been director of the CIA, etc, that Dumbya would've been elected on his own merit? Daddy's money and power bailed him out along the way, and without that he would've never even beaten Madam Witch for Texas governor more than a decade ago.
