Default How about NY Mayor Blommberg? Can he win? Does he have a brain?

I kind of like Hillary and McCain although obviously McCain is bad for business(well, my business anyway).

What about The Bloomer? Is he a serious threat?

No threat.

It will end up being McCain versus Clinton

Bloomberg switches party whenever it can help his cause.

The media (cnn article) is saying that Bloomberg is the worst thing that could happen to democrats. I think unless the media can give voters the perception that he can win, he will take votes from Hilary, dividing the liberal votes.

It wouldn't make a differance who is in office the result is pre-determined... In other words even if "Fred Flinstone" was in office these last 7 years the same exact thing would have happen... The policy planners pull the strings on these puppets....

That's a good thing if you are the one pulling the strings...

I'm hard-core left wing and I'll vote for Bloomberg. He will take votes from both parties, but probably hurt the Democrats more.

(Too bad for the 12th Amendment, or a Bloomberg-Schwarzenegger ticket would really put a hurt on. California and New York, that's a big meatball.)

To some extant that may be true but that is more because of anti-semitism than anything sort of rationality. Basically, the only real instance in which being the U.S. president and being Jewish might influence policy would be with Israel/U.S. relations. It's hard to imagine any scenario where even a Jewish president could be any more pro-Israeli than the current U.S. Congress and policy.

I would say if Bloomberg ran it's hard to imagine how he would carry a single state in the South. In some respects, I think Gore lost b/c he put Lieberman on the ticket. I don't think too many Southerners were very receptive to him.

I can't speak for all Southerners, but Lieberman was actually the best part of that ticket in my opinion. I didn't vote for Gore because of Gore, not because if his running mate.
