I read that psychological problems are among the most common of the 'injuries' soldiers are being sent home with. Even if they aren't missing an arm or leg, many of those people will never recover fully.
Not to mention the estimates of Iraqi dead that range in the tens of thousands. I think the most reliable ones put the count at somewhere around 35-55,000. And that's just direct casualties. There will be indirect casualties for years from malnutrition and no access to proper medical care. Its a tragedy for sure.
