2010 looks promising
The stock market is off to a great start and the economy is picking up...slowly but surely. I like 2010 already.

It'll be a good year as long as China keeps taking the USA's CC.

Watch out stock traders. The S&P is having a hard time pushing up and the VIX index is at a very low level. Smart money says that there will be some turbulence ahead. If the market buys the less worse than expected story again the market may go to 11,500, but I think it will get derailed before it actually gets there. I know I called for a pullback last year to the March 2009 lows, and I'm still sticking with it. The no earnings bubble just got in the way and has delayed the downturn.

There is no real recovery. It was bought with money printed out of thin air, and given to Jewish bankers and brokers. Who says there's no free lunch?
The Goldman Sachs of the world bought up stocks at rock bottom prices, with monopoly money, and they will, absolutely, sell them when the public buys back into the market. Unless you're very careful, they will steal your money all over again. And with the profits they will buy up more real estate, from all those loans the people defaulted on. Loans by banks, greedy for more interest, lending out money that they didn't have, to people that couldn't afford to pay them back. It's all smoke and mirrors. The Jewish bankers that control the economy can pull out the rug from under it whenever they want. Because they can always print more money out of thin air, they'll always win. Unless and until we kick out the Fed.
At best, this is a time for very conservative, low exposure trading. Just think of the people in charge of the economy as running a F-rated book.

The unemployment rate will comtinue to rise. How can you look forward to that? The current administration and congress (both GOP and Democrats) will make things so nad that any break in the clouds will look like good news. If you really want some good news, it appears that Harry Reid will lose his re-election bid, and that the Health Care plan will be delayed, if not totally defeated.

One thing I'm not looking forward to in 2010: I think one of my dogs might die this year. He's over 12 years old and he's part Great Dane. He's not moving around so good. We might have to put him down. My other dog is a Golden Retriever who's 11.5 years and he's still jumping around like a puppy.

That is very sad. That is why my wife and I choose not to have pets any more. It becomes very tough when the time comes to put them down. If it is any consolation to you, you will be doing the right thing if it comes down to that. Pets should not have to suffer.

2010 has been touted as the true recovery year for almost 2 years now by economists.

The stock market may recover, but what will happen to the millions who do not have money in the market and who will lose thier jobs? What happened to all of the money that was lost when 401K's bellied up? What happened to all the money that people lost in their retirement funds?
This is the secret of politics. Screw things up. Paint as black a picture as you can, and then when a little grey enters the picture, people cry recovery. We are far from a recovery. Only the Democrats are going to cry recovery, to try and save their worthless tails.

My old dog is losing it. We let him in the house yesterday and he looked at us, squatted and pooped! Just like that. In the house. He's been potty trained since he was a puppy and now he just poops in the house on the carpet. He's really getting old!

Unfortunately, his time is rapidly coming to a close. The dog has lost his ability to control his bowl movements. It is unfortunate.

Today at 12:20PM he was put to sleep at the Vet's. He died peacefully. The Vet said he had a stomach tumor and internal bleeding. There's no way we would have had him undergo surgery at his age. He had a good dog's life and was very loved. Goodbye my sweet dog....

We'll have to see, looks like we have more times of economic sluggishness. I for one am going to get another degree instead of trying to compete in this ridiculousness.

My brother and I bought in on silver about 6 years ago at a little over $5/oz. I'm still sitting on a bunch of it. It was a pretty good little investment.

As for the market, it has gone up too far too fast, look for a correction.

My cat has been doing the same thing. She's 16 years old now. She never goes outside anymore, and when she meows you can barely hear her. She craps in the same spot inside the house everyday.
