Sam is hedging his bets with the "I expect Obama to..." comment. Why is sammy saying this, well it is obvious isn't it. In Sammys well stocked vessel he knows that Obama is the more intelligent and more capable person. He knows that it is likely the real Obama will show up and he is terrified that he will destroy his man. People like Sammy are very obvious aren't they. I can read him like a very short comic book. Very short and very easy.

He is praying that he might be wrong but he must hedge so he can later say...see I told you. Not that sharp Sammy almost anybody with a brain can read you.
