To make matters worse they just did an investigation where a large percentage of these cards were used at ATM's to get their cash portion of the benefit, the atm's were on cruise ships, jamaica, and most of all Foxwoods and Mohegan sun, so if you think Mitt and people that worked for their money should keep funding all the lazy people to eat, live, get drunk, and gamble you are crazy. Instead of "occupying" public lands and making the rest of us spend money to clean up after you and police you spend your time helping your friends get jobs and contribute to society.

If you use the rules set in place by Congress and pay the bare minimum of what is legally required then you have done nothing wrong and are paying fair share. Yes, he paid 35%(probably really not that high after right offs and other shenanigans) and the 14% is tax on new income, this idea that you can't raise the capital gains tax because it is taxing the same money twice is a logical fallacy promoted by the wall street and the rich. The real question isn't weather he is paying what he should legally, but should the tax code be changed so that capital gains over a certain amount, say over $1,000,000, should be taxed at a higher rate. This will only effect the super rich, i.e. Romney, Buffet. Nothing wrong with a graduate capital gains tax IMO, shocking fact: when asked about this Romney was against it.

i am not against at figuring out a way that people like Buffet pay as much tax as his secratery, the only problem is we have the biggest free handout problem and everyone wants more and more to do nothing most of the people taking free money from our taxes dont even look for jobs. If someone is completley incappable of working and has legit proof then by all means we as citizens should help those people. The problem is that is not the case and we all know it. Do people wonder why most other countries see the USA as the laziest country in the world? They don't think that because of the hard working people who busted their ass to become successful, they think that because of all the people who live off welfare and foodstamps and dont look for jobs and they are cappable of doing so.
