    Default Can you afford this?

You probably don't give this much thought and neither do I, but soon I must start thinking about it. I find this unbelievable. These figures show a reduction in cost because of health care reform but still these number are unbelievable. Suppose you retire with a decent yearly salary of let's say 70,000. You should have a decent life, but now think how much of that 70,000 will go toward health care. Suppose you aren't as fortunate and retire with an annual salary of 40,000. Guess what you are in serious trouble. You might be one of those people that has to decide if you take your meds or you eat. Do the math. Decide if I am exaggerating here. Do you have a dad or grandad in this situation. Do you know what the donut hole is. Have you any idea how much trouble our health care system is in. People that think and say this system isn't broke are completely living in a dream world. This is unsustainable

I don't even think we can possibly comprehend how bad this is going to be for the current "me generation" which I am a part of. A generation of people that live paycheck to paycheck whether they are making $25,000 or $100,000 a year. A generation where the only savings they have is the change jar on their dresser. A large part of this generation is 100% dependent on the govt. for their daily needs today while they are in their prime working years. How much money will they have socked away for retirement? This is gonna be real ugly in about 35 years when the "me generation" starts reaching retirement age and the "millenials" are even worse.

This has been coming on for many a year now. Do not blame health care for all of the economic woes people have. people are huge money wasters. They spend on everything. They have to have the newest everything. Americans are amongst the most illiterate people when it comes to spending and saving. People have less common sense than they had 10 years ago. Their education is a sham, because schools do not educate any longer. It is real simple people. If you cannot afford something, donot buy it. It is really that simple.

Really, don't buy health care. This is too simplistic an argument. Health care costs are out of control, period. Whether people spend carelessly or not isn't the question. People that do everything right still have health care costs that are outrageous. Please.
