Default The Obama Economic Record Scorecard

Are you curious JUST HOW BAD of a President Obama has been?

    4 more years right?

Sorry. Before I read the title of this thread, I thought I was looking at Jimmy Carter's numbers. I'm sure the peanut farmer will be glad to know he is not alone now.

It is just the evil republicans standing in his way. If Obama could just be a dictator for a year, every problem would be solved. If the rich paid 99% in taxes, then we could just buy everyone on a welfare a gm car. That would make that company really competitive and give people jobs. If we would stop drilling for oil and using coal, and institued rolling blackouts, we could invest all that into solar energy. This would create a lot of green jobs.

Do you think it'd be all that different if McCain had won? The economy was a disaster. The part about gas prices is a fluke. Gas had dropped like a rock from about $3.25 to $1.85 from October of 08 to January when Obama took over, it was bound to go up again. I don't know what the cost of college has to do with the president and how anyone could think the president has anything to with it.

Things would have been different because a tremendous amount of damage was done when the democrats had total control for Obama's first 2 years.

Businessmen across the nation were afraid to make serious moves with the democrats in full control as they had no idea how the landscape was going to progress.

Right after the 2010 mid-term election, confidence began to grow again as business leaders knew the newly republican controlled house would put the handcuffs on Obama and the democrats.

There is not a situation scarier for America's businesses than a democratic controlled White House and congress.

RKelly, I know you have been collecting unemployment benefits for the majority of the Obama administration.

At least you had a job when Bush was president.

I'm not liberal, but you can believe what you want. I'm an open minded guy who considers every issue and I don't follow party lines like you do. I loathe the Dem party and I haven't voted for a Dem in my state (NJ) for quite a while.

I was being sarcastic. I was scared for my job the whole time Bush was in. He had massive
layoffs during both of his terms. He finally got me. My life has not improved since.

Gas way up, food way up, cost of health insurance way up, can go on and on. Normal
    recession activity.

I like 'bama and what he's trying to do, but if the other side of the isle won't work
with him, nothing will get done. It won't change the rest of his term, because the Repub's
want him out. Good for them, bad for us.

We would be in a whole lot worse shape if he didn't spend some money, though some
of that money (banks) should never have been given out.

You have to admit, the Dem's are being the adults, while the Repub's are being the brats.

Maybe he wouldn't have, but maybe we'd be in worse shape without it.
