Without a doubt the answer to who is most friendly to the cause is Ron Paul.

I know: the same candidate who will legalize prostitution in DC, lower the (essentially federally imposed) drinking age to 21, legalize marijuana and maybe some other drugs, prevent states from using arbitrary speed limit enforcement as a revenue enhancer, stop forcing states to impose seat belt laws, permit hard-core porn to be sent by the USPS...

Would that be the Democrats whose constituencies are disproportionately affected by many of those paternalistic laws, or the Republicans who say they want a smaller, less intrusive federal government?

Holding my breath...

Just about every argument I read in this thread is true.
Probably no pol will give it much attention. But here is
the bottom line. We have a much better chance with
a D than with an R. The handful of pols trying to reverse
this bs are mostly D's. This law was passed by the crazy
wing nut R's and represents just a tiny fraction of how they screwed up this country.

i doubt that there is any possibility for a pro gambling law to come into effect because it would be seen as anti-family by both parties........ i wonder though why the aclu has not become involved in this issue. Isn't the current law a repression of states' rights as well as an attack on personal freedom ?

Seems a strange choice for you, Coach, inasmuch as you think Israel has too much pull in US politics.

Hillary's primary moneybags (and close friend) is media mogul Haim Saban, who has stated: "I'm a one issue guy, and that issue is Israel."

Hillary is a phony dove, who supported the Bush Iraq policy up until the time she tossed her bonnet into the presidential race. If she's elected expect to see bombs bursting in air over Iran, a major foreign policy goal of Israel.
