Default What are some of those unknown gems?

This is a good place to post this question as Poker room review is here. I'm looking for one of those little poker rooms that nobody knows about. Has to be financially okay as I don't want to get stiffed. Has to be decent software and a little bit of traffic - preferably the loose kind of course. Anyone know of any?
Just looking for a new place to park a few bucks and I want to try one out that is not one of the big players. Please comment if you have a suggestion. Thanks!!

The larger sites with the large ad budgets is generally where the most fish swim, if you can live with a very small pool of fish, you can try new poker rooms. New poker rooms have very few games going and you can forget about large stake tables.

This recent article talks about winning at a new poker room, I personally enjoy the sites with the most traffic.

Have a look at our rating guide, you will find a poker room or two you haven’t seen or heard of before.

Warm regards,

I tried that flash site you guys did an article on, pit bull. I deposited $100 and cashed out $300. I am no pro poker player, but it sure seems like that place only has rookies.

no, I didnt have any problems getting paid. I did have to meet the bonus requirements. They have a point system once you meet your required points based on teh bonus then you can requet a payout.

I tried out Pitbull. For a non-download room, play moves along pretty well. Not much action and a mix of players. Most are not too good. Got sucked out on one hand to put me down but made it back later in the day. .25 and 1.00 BB in NL is about all that's going on in the cash games.

Still trying to dig out of a hole. Had AK vs AQ all in preflop for his stack and he spiked a Q. Next day had AA in SB. Guy raised from middle position 4x. I just called and BB called. Flop came 554 rainbow. I led out for 3/4 size pot bet, BB went all in. Raiser folded. It was for another $15 and I had 9 already invested so I called fearing the worst. Well, yup, he shows A5 and I take another hit. Slowly but surely trying to climb out.

At Pit Bull you need 200 impossible-to-get comp points to cash out. Here's how you get them.

Ring games:

The pot must be at least $20.00 to earn 1 comp point

The pot (s) must all be not less than $20.00 and total $4,000 or more to earn 200 comp points

Tournaments / Sit & Go:

$.25 in fees earns 1 comp point

The buy-ins must be at least $2.50 and total $500.00 with fees equal or greater than $50.00.

You can read about Pit Bull comp structure at their site. http://www.pitbullpoker.com/poker/club/club_home.jsp

That site stiffed me for my winnings. I filed a complaint with PokerRoomReview over a week ago and haven't heard a thing.
