SBR Poker League?
Is there any interest in having an SBR poker league? Can work out the details later, but I wanted to gauge interest and the probability of having it. I've seen tournaments for this site on bodog...maybe they can be the host?

Sounds like a neat idea, dane. Would be nice to get a set of tourneys as a league over a couple months - with a buy-in needed or otherwise.

That's exactly what I'm talking about...maybe have something once a week over the span of a few months which make up a "season"? Could keep up with standings based on finish and have a prize of SBR points or $ depending on whatever the buy in is.

I'll play. Would be nice if the winner of the league could win a entry into a WSOP event. Then maybe all league partipants could get a little piece of the WSOP winnings of the person who is representing SBR. Like 1%. We did that in our local poker league I ran.

But if you do this, when scheduling the games, please keep in mind us west coasters who may not be able to play until later in the night after work.

i mentioned that to lou a will back and he said that there was to much involved in makong that happen but am willing to join if it ever comes up

I am always interested in playing some poker. Maybe some room would give some added cash?
Personally, I would prefer buy-in tourneys. Freerolls bring all the ridiculous players out from under their rocks for some whoring.

or what about a league where there is six to a table and the top three get points .and u add them up every week until the seaon is over and then divide the money.im sure we can get 500 players easy

I would most assuredly play.
The 09:05 ET works very well.
Canadians are now permitted to play at Bodog.
I too am not that fond of freeroll leagues. Small buyin of $5 or $10 seems about right to maximize participation.
