Complaining about a bad beat is the nature of a poker player, but constantly complaining about beats and sites being rigged is another. If you really think something is rigged why are you playing it? Answer: you aren't very smart.

Please ignore this thread I started in the middle of the night.
Check this out:
I just got knocked out of my 4 PM PST tournament. I had Q7, the flop came Q-10-7. I checked it, the guy bets, I re-raised and the money ended up all in. He flips over KQ. The turn is an ace, and the river is an ace. Brutal.
CLEARLY THIS PLACE IS RIGGED!!!!

I do the same thing from time to time, although havent been able to play much lately and have had a lot of actual donks subbing in on my account lately.
I love bad beating somebody with straight garbage. Especially if they get mad and start ranting about it.
Ill usually preface the call by typing in the box that I play bad, I got a feeling or some other goof statement.
On the bad beats end, I had a guy crushed 60k plus to around 6k heads up last night and despite being ahead with every shove still(including a couple pairs dodging only one over) i still managed to lose. Obviously this software is not rigged.
The rigged threads are generally entertaining though. Especially when I see some of the people making them doing things that always result in getting big hands cracked.(limping aces, min raising when there are already callers in the pot etc.)

Also, we're all still wait on sbr to explain how this asshole got 5K in points mysteriously out of nowhere and has no record of turning pro. I have played over 1 million hands live and never seen the ridiculous bad beats that happen here. When you flop a set you should be winning 90% of the time against an opponent with top pair but here it's constant non stop runner runner str8, runner runner flush, runner runner bigger boat, runner runner quads for other guy. Just the other day in the pts game got it all in five times and lost every one. You look at the equity I had in the hands and it would have been mathematically impossible for me to lose them all yet people still think it's not rigged.

Hey Mike - I had explained it to Gummo the other day via PM but it seems he's one of the true good guys around here who doesn't feel the need to take private conversations with staff and blast them all over the forum. Thank you Gummo - I won't forget that
Normally we don't comment on poster accounts but since a couple of you are going to carry on with this: Bigblue used to write articles for SBR's main page. Some guys got payment in points once a week or whatever, others preferred to let them build up so they didn't piss them away in the casino. What you saw last year was his payment. If SBR wanted to load a ghost up with points, a deposit could just be made into their sportsbook account and you'd never know. Same as you don't know who gets freeplays and for how much. As I said to Gummo, no matter how stupid some of you might think staff are we're a bit smarter than that. GL at the tables![]()

Well one thing that you HAVENT done is play 1 million hands live. I have played for over 10 years live in tournaments and ring games around the US and I am damn sure that I have not seen more than 100,000 hands.
Reallly bad beats happen at the WSOP as well. Check out this hand that happened last week ( i may include the picture that was taken of this hand as well later).
I guy goes all in with pocket aces (short stacked), He gets called by a guy with pocket 4's and another guy calls with pocket 3's.
Then the big blind goes all in for not too much more with pocket queens. Flop comes Queen-4-3. The turn was a 4 and the river was a queen!

Check out my thread on going all-in. My record was 15-14, pretty even you might say.
But the record of the person who was behind (whether by me or my opponent) was 18-11. Out of those 18 wins, 15 were the exact number of the card needed to win.
I'm thinking about just playing the real games and only playing here at SBR when I get bored at home. May I ask why you play on SBR when in real games you have a much better chance of improving your game?

Wow 5K in points for some articles? Must have been one hell of a fuk'in article! Probably entitled, "How sbr lets me show up and fuk you idiots out of all your points only during high roller tourneys." So the fact still remains, this guy "worked" for sbr, you finally fuk'in acknowledged it only after I and several others raised questions about the integrity of this player and how he got his so called payment, and how he achieved pro status.
You got this part right at least,
"others preferred to let them build up so they didn't piss them away in the casino. What you saw last year was his payment. If SBR wanted to load a ghost up with points, a deposit could just be made into their sportsbook account and you'd never know."
Which I'm sure is exactly what the fuk you all do! Who the fuk lets 5K in points build up? And then all of the sudden takes a lump sum payment? Nice job Shari, This is the best fuk'in excuse you could come up with? Where are the posted articles? How many did he write to warrant a 5K payment? Way to continue to blow smoke up our asses! The principle fact still proves, sbr provides an advantage to it's "employees and even so called former employees, and that these former so called writers whom you would think would use some fuk'in decency while raping other real true players at the poker table, do not.
Former writer? This big blue asshole couldn't even complete a correct sentence during and after he won! Again, thanks so much for clearing this up and proving what I and other intelligent players on here have known all along. You guys are no fuk'in different than any other cheating poker client out there, except you steal points instead of money. Took you this long to explain what the bullshit deal was huh? Only after it was exposed on here, did you all bother to address it. I don't give a fuk who knows about it, in fact everyone should know. You all could have been honest about and just said the guy "use" to work for sbr, but no, as per usual it was easier to come up with some bullshit fuk'in excuse and poker scam.

Which is fine but you've bitched so much about poker and for so long that it's like beyond the boy crying wolf at this point. I've told you repeatedly to just quit playing if it upsets you so much. Who needs the grief??? Chris just gave you 100 points and you weren't even the guy in the hand. I'm hoping you'll pass them on to the poster who was severely hurt by Chris' lack of etiquette if you haven't already. I've sat in poker and had my ass handed to me while simultaneously have posters bitch to me about SBR, SBR poker, me, infractions, my colleagues, store prices, etc. And not in some 11 point tourney. Trust me: If there was a magical switch for me to flip when I've gone in there to try to have some fun and instead ended up listening to people piss and moan all while I was paying hundreds if not thousands of points for the privilege, I would've been tempted to fry many of the guys I've played with. Especially to the guys who see my name and come into the table with the min buy in just so they can directly bitch at a staff member. There's no magic switch. There's no "SBR Clique". We all run hot and we all get fukked.

Mike - In short it was articleS. Note that S. Over a period of time. Not everyone is a degen who takes their daily log in points to the casino or poker. And some who have the tendency to are smart enough to recognise it and ask for a way to get paid in lump sums instead. Do you know how many posters write articles for SBR???? You'd be bloody surprised pal. I addressed the issue to Gummo privately when he directed me to the thread the other day. You are not owed an explanation for anything. Nor is it proper of me to comment publicly on someone else's personal business. Not sure who you think you are.
And if you think SBR is cheating you through poker, seriously just bloody stop playing. I think everyone is absolutely sick of reading your rants by now.
