After a quick look at NFL lines for next week....
Post your thoughts. Without capping yet this is what I see on paper.
Colts (-2) vs Minnesota: Colts had a ruff opener, Packers exposed Minn's pass defence, Manning will do it 2x worse. Colts look like the easy play
Saints (-1) vs Wash: Are you serious? We all saw Washing Thursday night right? Saints look good, Saints easy win.
New England (+1) vs Jets: Just because no Brady doesnt mean no team! NE has a fierce run game and I think Cassell will be a string backup. NE easy win here. Jets beat Miami by 6.......and only by like 20 yards.
Steelers (-6) vs Browns: Many people are calling for Pitts vs Dallas superbowl........so if they compare the two teams on the same level, and cowboys made browns look like a high school team.......Steelers walk in this one.
Cowboys (-7) vs. Eagles: This line is SPOT ON. Honestly with how Eagles played (even tho against the crappy rams) I kind of thought this game to be a -3. Cowboys will win.......but I dont know if they cover.

Like the Patroits at +2, NE still much better than the Jets who didn't show much in Miami.
Opposite as I like the Vikings +2, season opener and even with how bad the Vikings looked they still had a chance to win in Green Bay who is still a good football team. Forte ran all over the Colts, Adrian Peterson should have a great game. Colts not having Saturday at center is a huge blow.
Thinking about the Titans at Cincy, getting a point with how bad their offense looked at Baltimore and the Titans D is better.
Can't wait until Sunday as I will place some early bets today.

out of the games you listed..
I see it like this
1)Minnesota as a home dog is a real GIFT, you'd be crazy betting Indy here
2)Saints are no good on the road, PERIOD. Washington will be fine, NYG are a very good team, and Washington played em to a standstill in the 2nd half.
3)New England will be beat, and beat a lot this year without brady, probably 9-7 at best, Jets are the play
4) and 5)Steelers and Cowboys are DEAD on, two best looking teams in either league in week 1

Crazy betting Indy? Neither team looked good in Week 1. Indy is the better team but I just question how healthy Manning is which is obviously a huge factor in the Colts success.

Liking the Saints for sure. Colts looked unusually out of rhythm and couldn't give Manning the needed protection to get comfortable. Not sure on the Pats...first thought is that it is an easy play. Solid group of wideouts for a qb to step into but Cassel hasn't started a game in almost 9 years. Looking pretty hard at the Eagles + the points as well.

The Jets game was very misleading. It should have been a 28pt blowout had Favre not missed an open receiver for the TD and not fumbled deep inside Fins territory.
But their defense looked very good especially their secondary that made plays after plays in the endzone.

Games
I really like Pit -6. I think this team has a strong running and passing game and was unimpressed w/ the Browns.
I am wary of the Jets line. The Jets should improve and the Pats should taper off (from Brady like performances), I'm not willing to get caught in between... Just still to many variables...
I started another thread about Buffalo +6... Anyone else have thoughts about that one here?

Browns are like the Steelers younger brother, the Steelers know they are going to beat them, and so do the Browns.
I am staying away from Jets/Pats, just don't know how each will respond.
I do like the Bills. Jacksonville line is beat up, and Buffalo should control the line of scrimmage. Jags will have to win on defense, and I will take my chances with the points in that situation.

I like:
GB -3
NO pk
PIT -6
I've put money on those games. Here are others I like but I am sitting out.
Denver looks like it could be a good play but OAK has been awful for years. I want to see the Broncos tested a little more before I jump on the bandwagon. I feel like I'm leaving money on the table with this one, but you can't lose it if you don't bet it. I feel that way about several games this week.
NYG -9 Giants should cover. Rams looked horrific against the Eagles. The G-men defense should crush them. I'm just worried that the Giants won't blow 'em out like they should. The Redskins game should have been a blowout but two drives turned into field goals instead of touchdowns. I'd like to see a little more killer instinct from their offense. They have the talent. The defense is awesome. My fear is that they let the Rams stay in the game then beat them (beat the Rams that is) by a touchdown. If the line was -6 I'd take it.
TEN +1. Vince young is out, but I like Collins better. I'm not putting money on this game but I think the Titans are all over this one. I am still in shock over week one. I sat CIN vs BAL out but I know a lot of people here took CIN. I was leary of this game but didn't think the Bengals would look so ineffectual. These guys are supposed to have a monstrous offense. I didn't see it. If they play like they did last week Titans will take 'em down. My fear is that they are a sleeping Giant. If they wake up and realize they are more talented than what they are showing scary things could happen. I know there is someone spying on me and as soon as I put money on this game they will call up the Bengals and say "okay, you guys can win now" lol I almost took this game but decided not to bite.
