Default Federer v. Murray

What a break for Federer not having to play Nadal. I am a Fed fan and going to play him in the Finals. Right now, I went to Matchbook, and the price is Fed -206/Murray +190. What is the concensus?

Crazyl, if you're out there, what do you think the line ends at?

I'm not sure what Matchbook will do, but Pinnacle closes around -227ish. They're -203 now. A bit higher of a clip wouldn't shock me either and it may sniff -240, but I think it'll go off about -227ish.

Murray is the play in this match at +200, Feds gone way downhill and would've likely lost to Rafa. Murray annihilated Rafa by simply playing some of the best tennis ever played, at +200 this has more value than a threesome with 2 playboy playmates for $10

This should be an easy play, but seems like a trap.

Remember Nadal never was a good player on hard courts, Murray is and Fed is, Should be good Match over three sets.

A threesome w/2 playboy playmates for $10 has incredible value...so much so I don't think a sports bet can match it

Are you thinkin of unloading on Fed at -200??? Wow. Murray destroyed Djoker in the final in Cincy, just destroyed Nadal yesterday and today, and after destroying the number 1 and 3 players in the world you want to back the number 2 whose had the worst year of his career at -200? Man where do I signup to be a bookie at this website!

Exactly. There is no reason I shouldn't be jumping all over paying 2-1 for Fed to win here and get his 5th title in a row in this tourney. I dont know why I am waiting. This is an easy 2 dime to win one.

I need a dime on Murray, then there will be no way I lose anything here.

Yeah, I am Bet. i dont see how he loses here. His only nemesis is Nadal. Do you think Murray keeps him from a 5th title?

Fvck I'm laying it. I'm going Fed here.

you were saying this before fed destroyed djoker...fed played well...murray also feels like he's done something by beating nadal and getting to the final...fed knows he hasn't done crap all year and this is it...the last big match of the year...I'll take fed -200 for the biggest match of the year for him vs murray know's never been here before...

I still say the same thing I said before he was no better than 50/50 to beat Djoker this year, he won, more power to him, he lost at the Aus Open, lost at Cincy semifinals, then won at the US Open, not sure how a 1-2 record in big tourneys this year means you had a great bet at -140. -200 on Fed is a recipe for disaster, did you even watch Murray in the final match at Cincy or against Nadal the last two days, if you did and think he can't win the US Open playing like that then you know absolutely nothing about tennis. His play against Nadal bordered on perfection

LOL...I don't like soup...and how many US Open matches has this guy won in a row?? how many major finals has murray been in?? you don't think murry feels like he's already accomplished something by beating nadal and making it to the final??

True, good points made, but the thing to remember is the hard court factor, this fav Murray, NADAL is known to struggle on Hard courts and yet it fav both here in the finals.

Yes...borderline perfection ....but to be done two matches in a row?? 3 out of 5 sets...all of the prior failures for fed make this his biggest match of the year to not have this be an utter failure for him...

I'm just tryin to help, you clearly have not followed Federer's path this year if you are this eager to throw all your cash on him at -200 versus Murray who is playing the best tennis I've seen all year. What was Nadal favored -340 and got tortured by Murray, how do you think that happens, luck? **** no, Murray is playing like absolute God right now, but load up on Fed at -200 I wish you good luck

You gotta be kidding, Bet. I have followed Fed this year and he has made the Finals and the only guy to beat him was Nadal. He will not lose here. Period. The more I think about it, the more i am laying on him. He is the 2nd ranked player in the world...and the only player that can beat him is out. Easy play here. Lets go. Fed all the way.

Not sure what your argument here is, he hasn't played his best all year so he should play his best now b/c???

Just for the record the biggest match he had all year was at Wimbledon, that was to preserve his #1 ranking, which he lost to Nadal, so we've already seen what he does in the biggest match of his career.

Murray IS ALREADY a world beater, he is ranked 6th in the world and is the minds of everyone the 4th best player in the world, he has stepped his game up to a different level and when you do that you don't say well I'm just happy to get my ass kicked my Djoker/Nadal/Federer, no you fukin kick their ass and show them what level of game you bring to the table as he kicked Djoker ass in the finals of Cincy (after Djoker had just buried Federer in the SF) and as he kicked Nadals ass yesterday AND today. It is clear you guys are vastly underestimating Murray's game and are overlooking his most recent performances

Okay well we've established Murray is a cakewalk for Federer and even though he destroyed Nadal who you guys think is the only guy who could beat Federer (even though Feds been beaten by every1 under the sun this year) he will somehow laydown instead of trying his absolute hardest to win his first grand slam title when he is playing the best tennis of his life. I wish you guys good luck and save me some soup
