You're right... Miss St. is a good spoiler team... Beat Auburn AND Alabama last season... I wouldn't touch that game either.. ESPECIALLY the way Auburn has been playing...

While I don't think South Carolina +7 is as bad a play as mmike032...I just don't think the Gamecocks have enough playmakers on offense to cover this number unless they get lights-out defense and special teams play.

The QB situation at South Carolina is a royal mess. Beecher, Smelley, Garcia...If you've got three QB's, you don't have ANY QB's. Beecher played poorly against NC State. Smelley played poorly against Vandy. I don't think Garcia is going to come into this first college game and light it up against a team as good as Georgia.

McKinley is most probably out taking away the Gamecocks only legit offensive big play guy. Davis is a good back, but he isn't going to take it the house from 80 yards out. And I don't think you're going to beat UGA nickle and diming it to the tight end.

While South Carolina could cover this number (or even win outright) by winning the turnover battle, getting a couple of short field opportunities for the offense, getting a defensive touchdown or a special team touchdown or two... I think they could also get waxed like 31-10 if they get the same kind of QB play that has plagued them the first two weeks of the season.

I'm with you on several of your other picks, but we're just going to have to agree to disagree on this one...
