    Default Andruw Jones

Andruw Jones picked up the slack last year w/ Chipper Jones being injured. With Chipper back on the IR, does Andruw have what it takes to carry the team again? (i think he can) He's doing it so far, hitting 2 home runs and batting in 4 in a win over the mets tonight.

    I've heard that before.

We'll see after they play a couple more series against teams not named the Marlins or Nationals.

Braves can't win the division every year!! Mets look
improved and Braves don't. I know Braves usually turn
it on mid season but this years Mets look pretty good
    2 me IMHO..

You just restated my point. Talk to me in July. If the Braves still only have two victories by a starter, and the Mets have altered the schedule so they get to keep alternating between Florida and Washington, maybe you'll have something.

All I'm saying is 14 years of history don't vanish in 2 weeks. They might win, but I'm not jumping on the bandwagon yet.

BTW, do you recall a team starting 12-2 last year? They finished 4th in their division (the weakest in the league at that) at 71-91.

Great points WS. I say the same thing about the Braves every year and they still end up winning it every year.
