I read in the "think tank" a thread about correlated parlays. It sounds like this is something books will not allow. If this is truly a money-making opportunity, I would like to know more about it b/c my local took all of my bets this morning with no questions. I made the bets but I'm not really familiar with the winning percentage of this strategy. Any info someone can share would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Some books still accept those types of wagers sir, however nobody will tell you which books do.

Bet the big spreads, the ones where the spread is 50% of the total or higher, that's the cream
like 35.5 point spread, 55.5 total for example Fav-35.5 and over 55.5 parlay Dog +35.5 and under 55.5 parlay they should pay +260 If you put $100 on each: You'll either lose $200, or win one parlay to profit $160, you'd probably win the $160 over 70% of the time ( guess) with those numbers.

A local is much better. Books tend to cut it off at about 30% relationship spread to total.

You can't put a specific %age on it, it depends on the spread and total. How many games could I find over the last 5 years that were 35.5/55.5 ?
The higher the %age, the better the parlay is, like a 60.5 point spread with a 70.5 total, would likely be on the order of 90% of hitting one of the parlays, while 21.5 points with a 46.5 total would be much lower, but I'd play that... if I could, it would hit enough to be quite profitable. You won't go wrong ( unless you get stiffed) playing all that are 30% or higher ( spread to total) with your local. Your local will either figure it out, cut you off for winning, or go broke paying you off ( if you bet large).
