I liked East Carolina all week, but the weather and the possibility of a slight let-down in the wake the Virginia Tech game caused me to lay off. If I were to bet the game, I would take the Pirates.

I think West Virginia will be ready for this game...... East Carolina won't sneak up on them. Now that West Virginia can run or pass, I think offensively they will be very difficult to stop. Their defense is a bit suspect, however ...... if the weather cooperates, an over may be the play....

The wind could be a problem ... I still took west virgina in this game ECU Is good but not West Virgina good I'll take my chances with Pat White and west virgina's weapons... (Virgina Tech had alot of problems and still should have won that game and virgina tech isnt anywhere as good as last year on defense or offense) Basically what im saying is ECU is over hyped... as far a recruiting and on the field talent they are about a good recruiting class or two away from beating WVU. (Ecu is a program on the rise though 2009 class has some good verbal commits.) If ECU can score 35 they have a shot at the upset I dont see it. (Herbstreit went 3-0 last week and he picked ecu for the upset not good)
