Default If an agent stiffs you?

If you have a credit account at a reputable book and the agent that you are betting thru stiffs you will the sportsbook step in and pay you or are you screwed?

You are screwed unless you hire someone to get money from him or you put a fukkin gun to his head and you might get paid. Is it really worth going to jail?

Do what JJ and I would do: Put a fukin gun to his head.

See how fast he pays you then.

I have not been stiffed. I just have an agent that I dont know anything about. I have a 10K Credit limit. Maybe I should test him with some small payout request before maybe going into the hole for major money. The book is one of the top offshore books around. I would feel much better of I had this book to back me up if anything bad happened.

Well if you have an agent I never heard of settling through book

If you have credit account at book minus the agent and just settle through wires , ect then you settle through book.

If I was too play on credit I would lets say use a place like Blackdog and when I hit settle money would transfer minus an agent, agents complicate things.

Yes but sometimes so called agents have the transfers sent their name and they run with the money , its happened before and this year I have heard of at least 5 incidents involving amounts of $5k up to $25k.

Most reputable books are solid with their agents. In a lot of cases the agent is only getting 25% of your losses anyhow.

The book usually will pay the agent and the agent will settle with you.

My problem is I am a reliable agent, but my book will not pay me, therefore I am responsible for paying my players.

I am not with a major book, but rather a local who uses a PPH shop to service his customers.

There are good agents with bad books and I am sure there are bad agents with good books, but personally I would feel more comfortable if I had an agent with a reputable book.

    Hope this helps!
