Still figuring it out, but it seems pretty cool. It's fast.

Yes, seems faster. Maybe they can reach mainstream where Firefox couldn't.

my firefox 2 is too well set up... i won't even try firefox 3, let alone this chrome thingy. google has a lot of road to cover to match firefox. without the same fan base and extension availability, it's just going to be another failed experiment.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that. They may/may not catch IE for a while, but they will get a good share of the market.

Well I will say it is a surprisingly noticeable speed gain.

It works with the 10 tabs I use so I am happy and very fast, firefox has more bells and whistles but this is nice.

Same here. It's annoying and I don't know how to make it stop short of doing the upgrade.

Mike, if you're talking about from another browser to google chrome, most likely. Would be very surprised if it didn't.

Just installed it...and uninstalled it. I'm sure it suits some people, I'm too used to Windows IE. When it downloaded my favs it put them in alphabetical order instead of my preffered order which doesn't sound like a big deal but if you've got items within folders on top of many favs I don't see why I should pay with my time to reorganise.

That said, it was pretty fast and a sharp view and I wouldn't put anyone off it, it's just not for me.

Yeah, I think one of their main problems will be to get people that are prepared to use something new. Obviously lots of people do, you only have to look at this thread, but for me IE really does suit my limited needs.

I use Firefox 3, but there is no was to clear the URL's in your address bar. This is something that the Mozilla/Firefox folks need to fix asap.

If anyone has a way to do it then please share.

Yeah Firefox 3 keeps your URL's in the your address bar. This is a PITA since I cannot clear my youporn and other URL's etc.
