    Default Phillies finally hitting

Back-to-back wins usually aren't all that big a deal, but I'm sure the Phillies are thrilled to have beaten the Braves in consecutive games after their poor start to the season. The best news for Philly is that the bats are starting to wake up a little. Aaron Rowand and Pat Burrell homered in Wednesday's 7-5 win, and Chase Utley hit a pair of dingers and Jimmy Rollins and Bobby Abreu both went yard in yesterday's 7-6 win over Atlanta. Five home runs in two games sure is a good way to get your team rolling, isn't it?

They really need to redo that lineup. Howard cant produce hitting in the 6th spot with David Bell behind him. Who would you rather pitch to? The line is a mess, and I can see why they are having a hard time getting hits.

They won't get far with that bottom third of the lineup. Bell, Lieberthal, and the pitcher. LOL. Talk about GARBAGE.

Lieberthal needs to learn how to call a game a little bit better.

It's much too late in his career for him to pick up anything. He'll remain utterly hopeless until he retires.

Let's see if those bats stay hot when they leave the thin air of Colorado.

Well since we are on the subject of catchers calling games. Have you guys seen Johjima call games yet? He seems to settle the pitchers down and get them to do what he wants. He should become a great catcher in the league.

Oh yeah, his bat isnt bad either.

I agree, doesn't seem to hold back anything. You need that assurance from your catcher. At least he isn't as extreme as the Cuban catcher from the WBC. Did you guys see that guy?
