I had a phase where I had to go to Hollywood Park at least three times a week, I'd drive there from wherever I was working so I kinda drove into and through East L.A. from every conceivable location. Although urban regeneration has made it a lot better there are still parts where I wouldn't get out of the car in daylight.

We used to watch the hulk in the afternoon in college when we were bored,it was hilarious When bill bixby used to get pissed you never knew when the shirt was going to start ripping and he turned into the hulk.Anything could set him off,This could happen alot ,gamblers get stressed

2.whats san fran like nowadays,everybody thinks of frisco as just gays and hippies but thats wrong.Its a great sports city and great food and tons to do.Are there alot of great clubs,what are some places you would recommend for heterosexual males,like strip clubs, cool nightclubs et,or even good restaurants ** I love sushi and san francisco seems to have a great asian food and some beautiful women.it seems like straight guys could do well there

To answer your questions:

1. Yes, I am a engineer, I work at IBM.

2.San Fran is like any other big city. It is full of gays and hippies but theres plenty of things to do if you dont go with any of these crowds. Theres plenty of great asian food in china town. If you are ever in Union square my hubby recomends Lefty Odoyles. Its american food but its very good if not you could always go to pier 39 for shopping and plenty of seafoodl. As far as night clubs and strip clubs, its just like any other big city. you just have to be carefull and do your research on the clubs because you might be in a bisexual/gay club.which is not uncommon in san francisco.

what sort of engineer work do you do ? I bet the rents are a nightmare in the city,I had a friend trying to get a job with craigslist and he has to stay in sunnyvale or mountain view for the time being to save up money

I hope you dont have to commute to anywhere in silicon valley ,my friends in that area say that afternoon traffic is a nightmare and they dont even go back into the city.I would only live in the city though ,the suburbs are a drag unless I guess you were still at school in a place like stanford or had to be out there because your job was out there in the valley

the traffic would kill me and san fran. seems like alot more fun than san jose or mountain view or some place like that

I live in the San Jose area. San francisco is nice but I personally wouldnt live there I just dont like it. Traffic isnt as bad as san francisco area for me. Right now I dont commute, but I will be heading to UC Santa Cruz to finish my last year of school. I am persuing a Computer Engineering degree but at IBM I am a computer scientist so im more on the programing side. Rent is about $1,000 for a one bedroom which isnt so bad but if you want to buy a house now that will be pricey. Theres plenty of stuff to do here just as in San Fran. Its a big city and you can do every thing you can do in san francisco for the most part here, but i just dont like san fran to live in.

Thats great about your degree ,my dad was in computer science.He wanted me to go into programming but I was just a small kid in the 70s and a teenager in the 80s so computers were just fun things to mess with in a hobbyist sort of way,like figuring out how the commodore works and playing pong and the early bbs stuff.I was going to learn basic and a few languages but I got more into writing and film and music.I am around programmers though alot with my work.

I am older than you guys you can probably tell by my references to the commodore

I thought you guys lived in the city cause gm had his giants shirt on, but the bay area is huge.If you are missing the traffic that is the best thing.san fran seems so expensive .seems like you have to be successful before you move there, to even have a one bedroom seems like alot of money..Good luck with your degree.
