Default Another problem with WSEX - the problems continue.

Another problem with WSEX.

The above link is to a thread I started on 3-24-08, detailing how I made a deposit to WSEX when their website promised a 10% bonus with 2x rollover. I made a screenshot of the offer.

Later, when I checked my rollover, I was told by the Accounting department that the rollover was 5x.

(In the thread above, I referenced another recent SBR thread in which the poster went through a similar situation - he deposited at WSEX under a 2x rollover offer, and later Accounting told him his rollover was 10x).

The poster "WSEX" resolved my issue with this post:

"Hi,

I am sorry for the confusion and how this has been handled. That's not our normal rollover. I have no idea how that got up there, but I am not saying it didn't happen. It's certainly possible.

I am waiving the rollover completely. Feel free to keep playing or withdraw it all.

Mistakes do happen. WSEX will always strive to take care of them quickly and do the right thing.

WSEX"

I assumed (and still do) that "WSEX" is top management there, perhaps one of the owners, and thus I was reassured.

I left the money in there and continued playing with it.

I recently considered withdrawing it, and doublechecked with the Accounting department.

I was informed by them that my rollover for that deposit was 5x (not the 2x which I had deposited under) , and that I cannot withdraw the bonus.
Of course, given "WSEX"s post, the rollover is irrelevant anyway as he waived the rollover.

"WSEX" - Everyone agreed in the original thread that it was a classy move on your part to waive whatever was left of the rollover requirement and free the deposit.

Unfortunately, there is obviously yet another communications problem with your organization, as it appears that your decision was not noted on my account.

It's a bit disappointing to receive yet another hassle, which shouldn't be necessary.

Would appreciate your straightening this out asap.

That's ok if that's the case, but the question is how to get the "clerical error" resolved, and in a timely manner.

Mods - do any of you know who "WSEX" is?

If so, can you email him and point him to this thread.

"WSEX" - where are you?

Bill Dozer - I sent you a pm yesterday. SBR_John told me you handle sportsbook complaints, and that I should contact you.

Do you know who's posting here as "WSEX"? Is so, can you contact him?

This was supposedly resolved back in February, but apparently there is no record at the sportsbook WSEX of the poster "WSEX" s decision.

PROGRESS REPORT:

The fastest and simplest remedy would be if anybody at SBR knows who "WSEX" is and contacts him.

On Monday I asked in this thread if any of the mods know who "WSEX" is.
No response to date from any of the 9 mods.

On Tuesday I pm'ed Bill Dozer and SBR John, to ask if they know who "WSEX" is and if so will they contact him.

SBR John responded, and told me that I need to contact Bill Dozer for sportsbook problems.

I pm'ed Bill Dozer for a 2nd time yesterday (Wednesday). So far no acknowledgement.

I also filled out the SBR complaint form yesterday. So far no acknowledgement.

And I sent an email yesterday to Accounts at WSEX with a link to my first post about the situation which contains "WSEX" stating that he is waiving the rollover requirement. I stated that the supervisors of the Accounting department must know who "WSEX" is, if he has the authority to waive a rollover.
So far no resolution there.

This is something that needs clearing up ASAP. I can understand your frustration Scooter. It could be that the "WSEX" that posted here was simply a ghost and someone making a prank. If that is indeed the case then SBR needs to let you know that it was a ghost. SOMETHING needs to be done here.

Hi Scooter,

I did speak with Bill regarding this and the disputes team are still going through the process of yesterdays emails. Many disputes and other complaints are submitted per day, rest assured no one is ignoring your situation here and it will be gotten to in a timely manner. So give it a little bit, if you still feel the need to speak to someone immediately about this you can always give a call to Bill @830 515 4645.

Thanks for your response, WileOut.

I began wondering if "WSEX" is a hoaxer.

However, in this thread:

WSEX says "Bend over and cough"

the poster had signed up at WSEX under a 2x rollover, and Accounting later told him his rollover was 10x.

In that thread, "WSEX" posted:

"There was miscommunication between the manager who gave you the 2x rollover and the accounting department. You were given a special 2x rollover, it is being honored."

And apparently that did resolve the situation.

So due to that, I assume he is for real.

I also assume that Bill Dozer and perhaps other SBR people know who "WSEX" is.
A simple email to him at the beginning of this week would've cleared things up at once.

CrazyL - As I've mentioned several times in this thread,
the fastest and simplest resolution would be emailing the poster "WSEX".

Isn't the book WSEX an advertiser here?

It would be very surprising to me if Bill and/or others at SBR don't know who the poster "WSEX" is.
He's popped up in previous threads, and resolved issues.

So far, no one from SBR has responded as to whether they know who this is or not.

WSEX is one of the books I have the highest confidence in as far as who will/won’t steal from their customers when the going gets tough.

But their customer service ranges from mediocre to much worse.

This is really silly that Scooter can’t get this resolved. And in fact gets teased that it is resolved and then finds out it isn’t.

I called WSEX earlier this week to see how to deposit funds. I asked about Western Union, Moneygram, bank wire, Fed Exing a check, and I don’t know what else. They said none of those are available. I asked about credit cards. They said sometimes, but often not. I asked if it would help to get one of those reloadable ones, and they said no, that it’s the same with them, some work and some don’t. So if I went to the hassle of getting one of those I might not be able to use it anyway.

I said, if all but one method is gone, and the remaining one only works intermittently and sporadically, how are customers supposed to deposit for the football season? They said one could try book-to-book transfer from another book.

Obviously a lot of these funding problems (from the U.S.) are not of their creation, but what struck me was the person’s lackadaisical attitude. I was hoping that calling them directly would result in their helping me around the obstacles, giving me more information than is available in the forums or even posted on their website, but no. There was an odd lack of urgency about the whole thing, just kind of a shrug. It’s like they’re treating deposits the way Sportsbook.com treats withdrawals—maybe we’ll figure something out, we’ll get to it when we get to it.

The only good news was when I asked them to check my account to see if I was eligible for a reload bonus if I find a way to send money for football, they said I was.

But then I called again just now, and there are at least a couple deposit methods available that were not available earlier this week. (Or maybe they were, and the first person I spoke to was just clueless.) So, much better.

Of course when I asked for confirmation that I’d receive a reload bonus on my next deposit, I got the typical sportsbook dipsy doodle—bonus? no, I don’t know who could have told you that, your account isn’t eligible for a bonus.
