Doing an all-nighter on Friday night and, just as I was about to retire for the morning, I met the early morning golfing guys. Excuse whatever I might have said, I was really pissed-up. Sorry. No, really.

While taking a mid-banquet cigarette break, some guy invited me to a 3-some with his chick. She was pretty hot, she liked me. However, the guy seemed to like me even more. I politely declined.

The Bad

Not seeing englishmike's wife.

It was only 2 days long.

There was a distinct inverse correlation between the people who talk the most crap and the people who turned up. Funny that.

Not winning the raffle when I planted my insider to pick out the winning tickets.

The Ugly

Thanks to the laptops plugged into giant TV screens, I never got to have a jjgold-free weekend.


Things that I learnt

I'm not Ganchrow - I still might be Sean because I don't think he was there, but I'm definately not Ganchrow. All the retards who thought I was, PM me and we can a Western Union arrangement.

SBR_John in real life looks 10+ years younger than his pictures - although I suspect he had a quick face-lift on Thursday afternoon. It will have disappeared by Monday afternoon.

Everyone I met was exceedingly normal. I was very surprised. Shocked, even.

AAO is a very polite and friendly young man. He missed the Friday night function - I suspect he was reading stories to sick kids in hospital.

BillDozer looks nothing like his avatar. WillieBee, on the other hand, does. Worringly so.

excellent post! Not sure what I expected a guy named taco max to look like but the taco man wasn't exactly what I expected. Everyone appreciated taco being there. Heft when I saw him at 7am Saturday I thought he was going to hustle me at the golf tourney. Sleeping was not on anyones agenda. Again, great to have taco max at the 1st SBR bash! It was a crazy good time.
