Danger. Once upon a time that would have been a great offer. But for the last year or so they have been scamming with their bonus offers.

If you take it and lose your balance, they are fine with that of course.

But if you happen to win a bit, all kinds of things can happen. They will label you a bonus abuser/professional. Why else would you take a 50% bonus, right? That is against their rules. So they will confiscate your winnings.

They have been taking free shots at players. Anyone who has the nerve to accept one of these offers becomes fair game.


And they do other crap like cut limits in the middle of rollovers. And then if you fight your way through the rollover, they have been taking 2 months to pay some players.


The damnedest thing is I could list about 6 other good reasons not to play there but this post would become so long, people would take one look and say, "I'm not reading all that." I would defeat my own purpose by being thorough.

Totally agree - it is so funny - to see this guy defend WagerWeb - what a joke! WagerWeb stole $40,000 from me last football season - think anyone should play with this book? I think not. They will find a reason NOT to pay anyone who wins there - look elsewhere.

WagerWeb is now using a 50% bonus to draw in business for football. And, for the record, this bonus is much more common then Mudcat would lead us all to believe.

The reason I don't play WW during the slow season is two fold, one they lower the bonus during baseball and two, they do not offer a dime line in baseball. Well, they have a "new" dime line which is nutty, but I like other options more for baseball.

In saying that, I don't think WagerWeb is a bad place to bet football unless your looking for reduced juice.

Yes, the bonus was 30% in slow season. I meant the 50% Inthehole was offered was the same 50% offer I was took last September to reload after not playing there in a year. So it isn't something new.
