    why would 0-6 be soo bad? Not crazy for a team to go on a 6 game losing skid. if they go on a 20 game winning streak, no one will talk abotu this 0-6 at all.

    this offense is just dead right now......youk looks bad at the plate...guys arent hitting with runners in scoring position...if lester pitches a gem today and they lose im gonna be pissed....they have the yanks this weekend and then david price after that...they cant hit price

    the bats have just been horrible with RISP...last night....2 and 3rd and nobody out...no runs scored....1st and 3rd with one out and no runs scored

    today 1st and 2nd with 1 out...crawford and pedey up....no runs scored

    got to be getting frustrating

    you are right...lester and clay are legit...after that...its a mess really....dice had a decent spring but last night it was much of the same....walk followed by a hit batter....having to work out of jams.....

    i remember reading a few years ago that when the sox made the move for beckett a dr examined his shoulder and said he had maybe 3 years left in him...i keep hoping hes gonna rebound and make a good 3....well see...lackey...ehhh...only hope looks like the offense starts getting hot and gives alot of support

    too many hitters in the lineup for them not to get hot....i think some guys are already pressing at the plate....eventually somebody will come up with a big hit with RISP and theyll break out...and maybe theyll relax and let it come to them

    these at bats....are just horrible...youks looks ******* terrible.....guy struck out on 3 pitches i think last night with 1 out and a chance to bring in a run...im expecting big things from him this year.....and he looks pathetic

    That was an awful call by that ump at second. Should of had them loaded which would of gotten them a run on Pedroia's fly ball.

    lester had santana at 0-2 and walked him...luckily he got thrown out.....had duncan at 1-2 right after that and walked him(this isnt anything new to lester)...but this is the kind of shit that comes back to bite you.....now he had kearns at 1-2 and ran the count full.....poor guy is trying to put in on his shoulders and pitch perfect.....somebody score some fuckin runs!

    Where on earth did their bats go? Think there heads inflated with all of the talk about how great a lineup it is.
    1st time in oer a decade they have started the year as the favorite to win the division.
    I expect them to turn it around at the plate ; they will hit well at home and the weather is very bad for hitting in Cleveland right now.
    What I am not so sure about is how great their staff is.
    Like the bullpen and Lester and Buckholtz ; but think Clay regresses a little from last year's steller numbers and the rest are over-hyped and not really better than anyone else's 3-5.
    Sox fan's love to bring up the fact that Dice K won 18 games but that was a long time ago ; he is a 5 ERA pitcher and has been for quite some time. Lackey and Beckett seem to be fine being mediocre and will continue to frustrate their fans with inconsisent pitching all year.
