I hadn't bet online since NETELLER went down, didn't trust other methods, and have been picking "just for fun" for a few years... I know a local though and will drop some cash when I have extra on my fave plays.

This season I decided to deposit $260 into 5dimes... Bet $150 on Saturday's action and put the remaining $110 on the Rice/Over Parlay which hit, that was nice...

But as I wrote in my blog, that Kansas game just tore my insides out. I had $22 on it to win $20 but also had it parlayed with Rice/Over/USC ML $10 to win $60 something. To lose that game the way I lost it, I felt so damn sick and disgusted and depressed and I realized that I don't have the mental/emotional strength to deal with losses and bad beats right now. Money is too important to me.

So today I cashed out $500 from 5dimes... the first time I've ever cashed out from a sports book. Nice $240 profit for the weekend. I will continue picking college football and pro games with the same passion and effort that I would if it were my money riding on it; but until I get a job that pays me a steady income, I have to put the few pennies a week I make into savings, not on games.

Sorry to answer your question with a life story, haha.

I will 100% be making a video every week and I spend hours capping a week, the fact that I have no money on it doesn't change the fact that I cap my favorite games each week.

In fact, I would argue that gambling with your pride/reputation is even more intense then gambling with your money. Plenty of gamblers play and lose all kinds of games they never have to fess up to; when I make my plays super public with my videos and newsletter, when I have awful weeks, I can't hide behind anything; its out there in the open for all to see.

As such, I still get the rush from being right and the deflated feeling of being wrong. I'll post a new vid every week between Wed - Fri... depends on if I like a game before the weekend or not. This week I do, so I'll be posting a vid today/tonight/early tomorrow.
