There's quite a few bad sports out there that do not belong in the Olympics, For me, table tennis is amung the worst and does not belong.

Ping Pong is awesome, the guys always look so serious. Softball deserves to be dropped simply because the US is so dominating. They only gave up 1 run so far this olympics and that wasn't even an earned run. While they put up 50+ runs and if it weren't for the mercy rule it'd be well over 100. They should keep baseball, at least thats competitive. Too bad its gonna be gone.

Table tennis is great. It doesn't get any respect here in the States because Americans aren't any good at it. Table tennis is a very popular sport outside North America. It's hard for me to take beach volleyball seriously. I'm a huge tennis fan but I don't think it should be an Olympic sport. Baseball, basketball, soccer shouldn't be in the Olympics as far as I'm concerned.

Don't take this the wrong way, but what's next? Fuzball, air hockey, horse shoes, billiards. Table tennis may be a fun sport, but it doesn't belong in the Olympics.

golf is a sport through and through, i would love to see any of the people on here walk an entire golf course making their shots etc. not riding a cart... its a lot more work than nascar... ok now turn left.... ok go straight... and....... turn left hahaha

Has to be the 100 metres, since history suggests they're all on drugs: ben johnson, marion jones, justin gaitlin, maurice greene, flo-jo, linford christie, tim montgomery, etc etc.).

Donovan Bailey is the only 100m winner in the last 20 years not caught, and frankly anyone who wins at all must be under suspicion (given the huge advantage dopers have, and the fact several like Marion Jones were never caught via testing).

You associate table tennis with fussball and other forms of relaxation. I've played table tennis at a pretty high level, and in my experience it's one of the most intense sports on the planet. Total concentration and intensity. Lightning fast, like fencing without sabers.

I'm in favor of dropping the 100 meter dash, one of my all time favorites, because it's become a symbol of juiced athletes.

Womens softball and baseball

All the swimming events besides freestyle. A swim race should just be to see who goes through the water fastest. That's it.

No special races for the slower freak strokes.


Like in track, the 100m dash is the 100m dash. It's a test of who runs fastest. And that's what it should be. They don't need a 100m running sideways and a 100m running backwards and a 100m skipping - and then do them all at every distance and have a whole bunch more medley relays besides.
