***warning for sbr BETPHOENIX players

since many of sbr's contests have required wagerchief, skybook, BetMania, etc accounts this can create problems as i found out today.
bet phoenix closed my account, with a sizable amount of money and pending plays in it.

it has been cleared up, but the reason they closed it was because they did an "audit" and found i had too many accounts, so now i have no wagerchief, skybook, betmania accounts because they were all closed and won't be reopened.

so hopefully in the future sbr keeps this in mind and doesn't require these "sister books" accounts so often, that create a bit of a scare in us players when our accounts are closed due to "fraud".

so consider this a warning since i got no phone call or email first.

as they have always had no problem with accounts at all of them.

just cashed some money out, don't know if that's what triggered it or not

Almost all users taking part in the SBR contests have accounts at BetPhoenix, Wagerchief, and Betmania. So they are all in trouble?

I have funds in three books, but have opened an account (but not funded) at probably 6 others as to participate in SBR's contests and such. I guess I'll have to close those lesser known accounts and avoid this situation. I guess I'll have to pick and choose my contests wisely.

I have a BetPhoenix, Betmania and Skybook accounts as well. Not killing them but pretty much even in baskets so far... the free 1/2 points at Betmania are nice.

I have never had a problem in prior years. In fairness, here to fore, they have treated me well. I hope it continues.

yes my ONE account was reopened with my cash/plays back but it's not pleasant to be told your accounts were all closed due to fraud, especially when you have to wait an hour or two to talk to someone who can help

i just wish they would have given me a call or an email asking for an explanation of why i had so many accounts before just blocking my access/closing my account. especially when i was an active player who had bets every day this week in the betphoenix account. not really the way to make your players feel important or even welcome.

Ok, but they paid him right? BP closed my Betmania and SkyBook accounts too but paid me to leave. These are all over-rated, chicken shit books with slower payouts (3 weeks for a check!). This is a family of Books, and if you know shit, they'll quickly cut you from all or most members.

if they dont want you to have sister accounts they should consolidate them. as long as they have three or four different books there should be no problem with a player having multiple accounts. maybe that is what they are in the process of doing. as long as they pay what the heck.

yeah thats pretty dumb and coulda been easily avoided by using only a few main books to run these contests...especially if they are all at sister accounts, it's all coming from the same pot

Interesting as I have acts at all also but have never had a problem there. Wagerchief cut me off last year and my limits are low at skybook but Phoenix and mania are ok. I am up big right now at bet mania on my last deposit been winning lots of bets there. Kind of hard to lose

Exactly. Why even have multiple books? And what if the player didn't know they were all affiliated? To say having an account at each of their books is fraud.....well that's bullshit.

I have accounts at Phoenix, Mania, Wagerchief, and Skybook; all of them funded. And I'm up lifetime there.

Never had any sort of problem related to this, and have actually had an easier time with payouts at the sister books because of my long-standing Phoenix account.

Sadly this seems to be the case. Never had a problem for years, then you win a couple k and cash out, and it's fraud. Quite ridiculous for a b plus book.

They've pulled out of sponsoring as of today. Seems they got hit with too many FP requests in the last minute pre-price hike shopping spree.

That's a shame, the more choices the better. For me it's down to just Jamaica since I can't have a Sportbet account.
