Georgia LT Sturdivant will miss 2008 season

Sophomore will have reconstructive surgery on injured left knee

Athens - Georgia offensive tackle Trinton Sturdivant will undergo reconstructive surgery on his injured left knee and will be out for the season, coach Mark Richt confirmed Tuesday morning in a statement released through the sports communications office.

Sturdivant, considered Georgia's best lineman, injured the knee midway through the top-ranked Bulldogs' first full-squad scrimmage of the preseason Monday afternoon at Sanford Stadium.

As if the Bulldogs don't have enough off the field issues these days. Although, I sure does help my Florida Gators futures.

Georgia will disapoint a lot of people this year! People are calling them national champions off of last year! This is a new football season. They have to go to Arizona State, Aurburn, and LSU! O and I forgot they play Florida to.
