    Default Pinnacle changes withdraw method

did anyone else catch the change pinny made on there withdrawal options:

Clients who do not use our free account to account transfer option now receive one free withdrawal per calendar month. There is no minimum amount required for your free withdrawal and you may use any of your authorized withdrawal methods. All additional withdrawals during the calendar month, for any amount using any withdrawal method, incur a fee. Please see the FAQ for more information on fees.

It is there for couple of days. Major change is that now small players can withdraw once a month for free.

Very smart move, now with out exception Pinnacle is a must for all size players. Until I started reading this forum I didn't realize how their withdrawal fees were tough on smaller players, now is perfect for everyone IMO.

I know what you mean. I was surprised at how indignant some people would get over that 15 bucks - but when you think about it, that's a unit for some people. I wouldn't be happy if I was charged a unit for a Neteller payout.

Pinnacle still had value for the smaller player - but some people just weren't going to believe that no matter how much you explain the math.

So this is yet another nice move by Pinnacle. Now there's nothing to explain. Well . . . until they want their second payout of the month.

Their 30 day holding period for new accounts is ridiculous. I've lost thousands by not being able to take out my money. One free withdrawal per month is no big deal. I get 4 free withdrawals a month with Sportsbetting.com
Yes you can't compare Sporstbetting.com with Pinnacle Sports but those withdrawal fees can really eat into your profits if you don't place a lot of wagers. I place between 60 to 100 wagers a week with Pinnacle...they should give me unlimited free withdrawals.

I dont see the big deal about withdrawls? I keep
reading about people withdrawing all the time, why?
    Whats the point??

I have been withdrawing my winnings from pinny once
a month like clockwork, why would someone want to withdraw so often anyway? I never
    understood that?

Depends what you're doing, I play lots of in-running tennis, often taking a starting position from Pinnacle, then betting it in-running with Betfair. It's not unusual for me to transfer my whole balance from Betfair or somewhere to Pinnacle and need to get it back to neteller to reload.

this is frickin' awesome...I just withdrew more than $500 with them, but if I hadn't it's cool that I wouldn't have been charged the 15 bucks...dan, they are definitely listening and improving...which is why they are the best in the business...I think many recreational players that may have been scared off by the $15 fee will now have no excuse not to play with pinnacle...

You need to work off a bankroll. To have this partly or even mostly tied up in just one book is not good business sense. It is always good to have control of your funds to play at betfair.

But, more to the point, I think marc's been highlighting very good reasons why you should never trust a bookie with a large amount of money over extended periods. It is always a risk of fraud, disopute, theft, etc. Its not like Pinny are in Manhatten.

And, personally, for me, I like to do periodic reconciliations. Its just nice to have the cash back and re-distribute as I please and not when the bookie tells me I can.

And, lastly, I am sure banks pay higher interest rates than even Pinny!!

There my reasons anyway IMGV ... but to be honest I play Euro books mainly so withdrawing for free whenever you want is taken for granted (albeit along with shitty CS).
