and it will be a lot worse than 0% if it loses.
there is nothing wrong with betting -5,500, if it will win 99%+ of the time. i doubt however, that the op has a sufficient badminton model to determine such a probability. |

Whether it's badminton, darts, or underwater basket weaving really isn't the point.
If you make 100 bets at -5500, each with a 99% chance of winning betting full kelly, your expected bankroll is 142%, whereas if you make 100 bets at -110 each with a 55% chance of winning your expected roll is 132%.
How one would go about making projections on this particular event, I don't know -- but that certainly doesn't mean it can't be done.
