    Play Rules/Details

Bet Jamaica is offering odds on all 128 contestants. Due to this, we'll be implementing a "NO LAYDOWN" rule. If your opponent fails to submit picks during the allowed time, a dummie account will place picks so the possibility of being eliminated is maintained. The dummie account will then assume the role of contestant.
    • Contest graded on units won.
    • Contestants may not select the same game. First come, first serve.
    • Correlated wagers such as side/total will be allowed. (Cowboys -3, under) Side/ML, half/ML, half/game total will NOT be allowed and the plays will not be counted.
    • Each play is for 1 unit risked. A fav will be graded as to win 1 unit, while dog is 1 unit risked.
    • Past posted plays will be graded as a LOSS. Players should make their wager well before game time to avoid issue
    • You must have made the total # of plays designated for your round to advance, regardless of if your opponent cannot mathematically beat you.
    • Lines will be posted overnight for the following day/night. If major sporting events hit the board past that time, SBR reserves the right to add additions to the daily lines thread. The lines quoted must be used.
    • Admin reserves the right to change the rules at any time, use discretion in addressing disputes or unforeseen circumstances, and basically do whatever we want.
    • One entry per household and computer.
    • all decisions made by SBR are final
    • There is no max on plays per day. You can make all 7 in a day if you so choose.
    • You may NOT select the same game as your opponent. You may however select the opposite side , i.e. "fading them".
    • ALL picks must be used from the daily lines thread. A unit one penalty and disregarding of play will be enforced if you use outside lines or if you past post.

Only way we get 128 contestants is if each brings 4-5 ghosts.

If a member only makes 6 picks in round 1, does that mean he can't move on to round 2 no matter what?

Yes, because it's required to submit the correct #'s of plays like everyone else has to.

SBR reserves the right to spread lines on various events, however Bolivian dart leagues and chess contests probably won't make the cut.

    oh you say
RULE;Contestants may not select the same game. First come, first serve

i dont get this people are on diffrent schedules
take the ncaab tourney it doesnt matter if people pick the same game results will be varied,if their is a tie then that should be included in rules to extract a winner.
but just because joe#5 has the same pick as joe#70 shouldnt be frowned upon

That just applies for the head to head matches. It just means you can't select the same game as your opponent.
