I disagree. I think it's a great move. Pennington is done. Kellen Clemens is garbage. They needed a QB desperately. They now have two years to get Favre's replacement because neither one of those guys was doing anything.

Throw in the fact they just revamped the offensive line which was HORRIBLE last year, they'll definitely be good.
