If u r real it works like this. Get a room somewhere downtown and see the floor manager abt room and meal comps. Play low stakes poker and bum hunt. If you are any good this will allow you to build your stake and stay and eat for free. I do not see anyway this works for sportsbetting. Roll is too small. would say you need 100k roll to accomplish the same thing u can do at poker.

Oh, your from MI. Hell no you'll never return to steaming pile of shit. You could go to Vegas broke and never return there. If all else fails, just find casino jobs, get a cheap studio apt. and live paycheck to paycheck before returning to MI. Thank me later

Your roll will start dwindling quickly if you have to pay for rent/hotel/food/drinks/transportation. I would figure out a way to stay/eat for cheap and hope you make a couple grand the first week. That way you can go rent an apt on a month-by-month basis. I wouldn't go for the home run right off the bat...pick and choose your spots at first and get some extra coin in your pocket. Don't forget to stash enough way for a return flight!

Horrible mistake. Hitchhike to Cali if this Vegas fails. You will experience freedom that most can't imagine. If you fail in Vegas then 1.) you have nowhere to go but up and 2.) you're in a much better spot than MI... Never return there

    Blowjobs?

Seriously, you're in tough. Stash 5k in case things get ugly quick, and try to grow your roll slowly. Stay away from table games and anything with inherent -EV.

You´ve never been there and start by doing it with a one way? Fascinating idea to say the least. I admire the bravery and wish you all the luck (might be needed). Sportsbetting is the plan?

Sure looking forward to hear reports from this adventure!

Hmm. I would probably go check out a place that I was considering moving to before I actually went and did it. Vegas is certainly not for everyone.

Dude you can do it with 1k, if you win everyday. I'm pretty sure I could do it winning a measly $100 a day

$3000 a month goes a long way if you don't indulge in hookers and cocaine.

First thing you should do is go get some gambling tips from the guys at the 'Thunder Down Under'. Well worth your investment.

Share a room with LV Bound.

Maybe run a bait and switch operation.

Go to, for example, the Plaza downtown and book a cheap room for one night. Then go downstairs to the poker room and ask for the casino floor manager. tell them you want to be "rated" for room and food comps. Ask them how much play they want you to give for you to receive a room and a meal per day. He will tell you and give you a "card" to give to the pit boss when you sit down to play. they will then rate your play both in wagers and time played.

If none of this makes sense you may really be out of your element.

I think you are doing a good thing if you have a good strategy on your wagering. Use you strengths on what you are good at. If you are good at College Hoops then go with that. Don't bet too many games at a time. Those are mistakes people make. Good luck and I hope you do well.
