Default Managing multiple books

I am a recreational player, and in past years I have just used one book (usually BetJam, or Greek).

I've had a fairly successful baseball season, and would like to expand a bit. I base my unit wagers on my bankroll, and vary my bets from .5 to 3 units per game (with most games being 1 to 1.5 units, and action games being .5 units)

So, my question to my fellow handicappers is.....

How do you manage multiple books? Spreadsheets to track your bets? Do you mix your baseball with your football and hoop play?

I plan to use Blackdog and BetJam as two of my books. I have had A+ experiences with them. Customer service and funding deposit/payouts easily are the biggest factors for me using those two books. I also want to use two more books, but haven't determined which two yet. I am really interested in Heritage, and have heard great things about their customer service, but I understand a referral is required for US players? Anyone else have a C+ or better rated book that has great CS and painless deposits/withdrawals? Betting limits are not an issue with me, as my unit play is <100.

And I am not interested in Creditwagering (too shady) or Betonline (too expensive to process withdrawals and weak software)

Thanks for the advice in advance.

My "normal" spreadsheet has these columns:
Date of event
Amount risked
Amount to win
Selection
Result
Sportsbook

If you only have 3 books, you could use 3 colums for result, and track the result by sportsbook.

Once you have this setup, it's easy to check your theoretical balance. You should do bookkeeping every Monday, so you can catch mistakes or misgrades reasonably quickly.

I can't believe I ask a serious question of fellow handicappers, and get one response, but the threads "Do you shower in pee or poo" gets over 100 replies combined.

That says a lot. Nice going fellow handicappers.

You sound like a pretty smart player. Understanding that wagering on games is based on bankroll total. I used to do two book and I pretty much kept everything in track on a spreadsheet, similar to Justin but for the most part my bookkeeping was done daily or two days at the most or it would get out of hand. Once, I get through football season and see how this new book does for me I will open other books just to get value. It's amazing how much more money you can add to your account if I shopped around. Right now I could care less about value. What's the point of value if you have no winnings ways - NOTHING!!! Spreadsheet bud
