Royal's hands get real sticky at the end of the month and they just can't let go of the cash. This player sent it one of the worst up-sells I've seen from Royal.

Well... the player wasn't even given a choice so I guess it's more like an IOU fee?

I wish I had found out about this site earlier. Before the million headaches and stress that I am now enduring due to BetRoyal.com stall tactics.According to betroyal, Their policy states that within 10 days of a request for a whithdrawl, they provide you with a tracking number.


Well I requested a withdrawl for $5000 on 3/7 after meeting all rollover requirements ........this withdrawl was not even processed until 3/13 supposedly) and I called them 10 days later and they told me to call next week for a tracking number....so i figured a week delay no big deal. I call the next week, they tell me another week...etc etc....well turns out my cashier's check and tracking number will not be ready until next Tuesday which is the April 4th. Almost an entire month has passed since my initial request. And thats not for the check, thats just to have a tracking number.

Then there is this guy Anthony, my supposed account manager, who calls me out of the blue and tells me that they are giving away all these great bonuses and what not. He asks if I'm interested in depositing with them. I tell him, "no", and added that if you guys havent even paid me for a $5000 withdrawl that I submitted last month, why would I even want to deposit with you guys. He proceeds to tell me that he would look into it, and give me a call back. He calls me back about 5 minutes later and tells me that the reason my withdrawl has been taking so long is due to the fact that betroyal has switched payout processing companies (which I think is a bunch of crap). He then informs me that the withdrawl I requested has been cancelled, and that the $5000 I had requested is now back in my sportsbook along with a 30% bonus on that $5000 which now requires a 3x rollover. I was in shock, I told him I did not want to put that money back in my sportsbook, and he proceeded to tell me that if I still want to do a withdrawl, that it wouldn't be processed until 4/25. That is almost 2 months from my initial withdrawl
request!!

I ultimately am down to my last options, I really do not want to wager with them, and would love to close my account with them. I don't even care about their stupid 30% bonus. They can keep that crap. Can you guys please help me out or advise me on what steps I sould take? Please help. You guys are my last hope.

Hey guys,

I am the player this thread is in reference to. Here is a follow-up:

As soon as I contacted Bill......I was given a call from Richard at betroyal.com and was informed that they will cut me out a check for $5000 on Monday. The manager that spoke to me was Richard, and he's seemed like a very stand-up guy, and apologized for the mishaps. I am now hoping for the best....and Will keep all of you guys updated of course.

I am now just waiting for a tracking number which was promised to me by Monday.

That's promising to hear. I expect that this situation probably will play out fine from here on out.

But unfortunately we always get stuck in this same loop with Royal and the thing I always have to wonder is, "What's happening to players who don't know about forums like this once Royal gets a Kung Fu grip on their cash?"

Whats sickening are the websites that promote this scam of a sportsbook. If you post at a website that promote this scamming operation, find the courage to post elsewhere. Somebody has to take a stand against these crooks.

Bet Royal has paid me out twice before ($2500) and ($1200), but for some reason this time was a total nightmare. However, I don't think Royal Sports is a total scam. Before this transaction, things had gone well. If this book was a scam, they wouldn't have contacted me to get things straight. Let's just hope they come through Monday.

richard has told me,and i think its obvious to everyone here,that it is hard to collect from royal at the end of the month,per higher management.what i do if i want to request a payout around the 26th,is just wait till the 1st.i believe this is due to compensation paid based on monthly figures.it is also easier to negotiate a car deal at the end of the month.as has been said before,royal is not for everyone.they work for me because i,m willing to float my money in return for the benefits received.i,m not a schill for anyone,and i respect sbr,s negative view of royal.sbr offers invaluable assistance to me(bill just saved me $3001 yesterday).i simply post is as i experience it.

There is something to this although it is not an excuse. It certainly is not good for their long term health.

SBR Bill Dozer reports: Royal Sports (SBR rating D-) asking players to wait for payouts so that they can meet their monthly quota? After waiting over three weeks for a $10,000 withdrawal the player is asked:

“Would it be possible if we proceed with your request first time Wednesday morning? We have a sales goal to meet, Tuesday is our last day to do so and I would really appreciate if maybe you could wait one more day.”

This may actually be encouraging news for current customers who are attempting to interpret the most recent warning signs. In the past two weeks, Royal has offered huge cash bonuses to those with pending payouts if they are willing to cancel their withdrawal request. SBR has also received an influx of slow-pay complaints. Although these actions would be detrimental to any sportsbook’s long term plan to turn a profit, current players can hope that accounting has exceeded the funds allocated for the month of May and that payments may be quicker at the start of June.

BetRoyal is not a total scam the same way a ponzi scheme is not. In a ponzi scheme people will continue to get paid as long as more money is coming in then going out.

Explain how a business can last by slow paying people weeks at a time, sometimes months? Offering 100% bonuses to cancel WD requests. The owner of BetRoyal is a convicted swindler who has worked the same ponzi scheme with all his other books/casinos. All of them have busted out, leaving post-up players high & dry.
BetRoyal used to be a respected sportsbook, before the convicted swindler took control.

I don't know why, but getting a check from Royal is always difficult. What makes the problem worse is that they tell you it will take 2 weeks to get. So you don't even know there is a problem until 2 weeks later. Players who withdraw by neteller seem to have fewer problems.

Only thing I can thhink f is that the don't want to maintain a real balance with the 3rd party who processes the checks. So they likely first wait until the have a number of players requesting checks. Then they have to get around to wiring the payment porccessor money, and only then can they request that the checks be cut

Here is an update guys...as of today, (Monday)......my account was debited for $4950. Richard had promised that the payout would finally be processed on Monday, so far, so good. I have yet to recieve a tracking number. But at least my account has been debited for the withdrawl amount.

Will update you guys as to when I recieve the fed ex tracking number.

Thats good the scumbags may finally pay you. Unfortunately the money no doubt came from unsuspecting depositors who will end up begging for their money should they be lucky enough to win.

Richard called me personally and gave me my tracking number. He apologized again to me, and let me know that for all further transactions, I can reach him at his own extension instead of dealing with any other people at Royal Sports. Will let you guys know when the check arrives.

UPDATE:
Hey guys, I did receive my check finally, and cashed it down the street at Wachovia bank with no problems. After a month, but hey, at least Richard was nice enough to handle my situation when he found out about it. I would have no reservations dealing with Richard in the future seeing how he handled my withdrawl after the numerous headaches.

I would have to undoubtedly give a HUGE thanks to Bill Dozer for his help in this process, and thanks for the posters that have kept up with my situation, your support helped me, when I felt like I was stuck between a rock and a hard place!

Sometimes in situations like that, you feel so relieved you are almost grateful to the sportsbook. That's understandable. I really am glad for you.



But just to put it back in context: Royal slow-payed and weaseled and played games with this guy's money (like they have done to so many others.) He finally got to have his money more than a month after the request. Stress aside, for me that is a form of theft. I could make some good money off $5000 in a month.

The good news is, Royal is somewhat willing to cooperate with people once they find the posting forums.

The bad news is not everyone knows about these posting forums.

Hey guys, I have made another $5000 withdrawl request on 4/13 thru customer service. I had asked to speak to Richard to do the withdrawl, but they said he was on vacation. Lets see how everything goes with this second withdrawl and how long it will take.
