Nonsense.
There are no "systems", however, that can turn -EV bets into profitable bets. That is a fact.
If iwin is making +EV bets on his baseball plays, his half bet first 5 innings/half bet game "system" will probably be profitable. But, it's far from ideal even if those plays are +EV. And let's just say I have my doubts.

The point is about the sample size being smaller than it appears due to correlated bets. There is nothing wrong with betting both the 1H and the full game, but it does make your record less impressive. |
