Yankees management and even some fans I can't stand. Team has enough power and offense, just need to get rid of Cashman and get a guy with a clue. Pitching is the biggest concern for me.

It was only 1 pitch that wasn't all that good, but even that one wasn't bad...
His location looks good today. Nothing hanging over the plate...

We could've went for Rich Harden or even Rent-A-CC, yet they go by, to smaller market teams. Cashman would rather throw Rasner or Ponson.

I don't know about that
Yanks already won 2 out of 3 in Boston
even if they lose today they still got the job done

First of all, the Yankees don't need Harden or CC ... they will make the playoffs as always (but not really, since they have great relief pitching this year) ... players like Ponson will never see the light of day.
If the Yanks were to pull this game off, it would rip the heart out of Boston. Our 7th best starter against one of their aces ...
Game ain't over yet, boys ...

Ponson is 3-11 in 20 starts against the Red Sox and Lester has a 7-0 win already against the Yankees this year . Boston has not lost 3 straight home games this year.
There isn't going to be a sweep. That's why my money is on Boston.

AL: CWS or LAA
NL: CHC or MIL (NLC gonna get the wild card)
MIN is a playoff underdog...

They've not had an ace, nor a bullpen, the last several years in the playoffs. They have been built for regular season success, not playoff success ... the Yankees are not chokers.
(unfortunately, their best hitter is the epitome of choker every time October rolls around ...)

i j think the nl central winner wins the nl, and al central winner wins al i think
i think it may be twins
will let you know all my picks soon
my preseason picks were:
east: bosox
central: cleve
west: laa
wildcard: nyy
nl
east: phils
west : az
central : cubs
wildcard: mets
the only thing i was horribly off on was cleve and thats bc they are injured and stuff

funny, considering yanks fans try to put wang in the top 10 when HE IS NOWHERE NEAR The top 10
the guy is a good starter but not in webb or CC or peavys league

Are you kidding me? Cashman is by far the best GM in all of baseball. He has dramatically turned this team's direction around. He is successfully able to build a winning franchise for both the short term and long term. I.E. He has created a great team while not depleting the farm system.

i guess if i had 200 million to spend i could win 92 games too
seeing as how beane has 1/8th of that cash and wins a close number of games
cashman has no minor league system that i can see, no homegrown talent, he has signed kevin brown and randy johnson and carl pavano
any idiot knew those moves were bad
tell me how cashman is close to mark shapiro or billy beane or numerous others
dont be a homer dude

With the way Ponson is pitching, Washburn should be a Yankee by the end of the night
