After Pinny, if ya'll were gonna add 2 more books from this list for bases, which two would it be? I'd have to go with 5dimes and betjamaca

I heard WSEX has live game betting on sunday night baseball. I'd be big on that. I'm normally really good at calling what's going to happen.

OK so we know Pinnacle is a great baseball book but I got a hidden gem: BetJamaica

Seriously, this is a very good baseball book. Dime up to 190 and early lines and stable lines. Very good baseball book.

Mansion. I know it's not on the list but it should be. But it's hard to get a firm handle on what an exchange is going to offer - even if the exchange is largely seeded by the sportsbook.

Mansion was lower juice and, factoring in limits and opinionation, overall better than all of them except Pinnacle last year.

But going by the exact question, I'd say WSEX and Hollywood.

I'd have said 5 Dimes with the nickel overnights, but their limits are too low.

thats the reason why i ranked them over betjm. in-game-betting is something i feel might be a money maker this year. maybe we should start a thread up about relief pitchers that suck.

But if we know they suck, I guarantee the guy who's paid to set the lines know they suck too ;-)

I find the best use for in betting isn't going against a bookie, but going against the public.. Not going to go into details (for copyright if no other reason) but Murray's book and a few web sites linked thereto have complex stat tables for the % chance of home team winning given they're 2-1 up in the top of the 7th with a guy on first and third and two out..

The bookies have that information, and likely will try and set the right line (as it's low volume, so splitting public action not so much the objective), where as on exchanges where you're going against other bettors, they're more likely to get carried away with emotion..

At Betfair, I LOVE Yankees games... all the **** come out and try and bet the yankees at -1000 whn they're 2-0 up in the 1st/2nd.. great fun.

When reading about the "Best baseball books" to be presented on SBR, I thought we would get more info than what a 10-year could have gathered in 10 minutes.
