So the Indianapolis Colts have replaced last year's kicker, Mike Vanderjagt, with former Patriot Adam Vinatieri. So is this an upgrade at the placekicking position? Gut reaction is a definitive "Hell Yes!" considering that Vinatieri is quite possibly the best clutch kicker in the history of the game. Yet, Vanderjagt has the highest field goal accuracy rate in NFL history (87.5%, 217-245) and set the NFL record by nailing 42 straight. Plus he's earning less money than Vinatieri, making him possibly a better bargain to boot. So which kicker would you rather have on your squad? I don't think that's as easy a question as one might think...

Well if you have Vanderjagt, you have to have a other kicker on your payroll full time for kickoffs. Unless he decides to start kicking off.

Id go with Vinatieri. He as proved to me he can hit big game kicks. And in any weather. Unlike the Domed Vanderjagt

It always seems to be chip shots for Vanderjagt. Im probably wrong, but just seems like he goes out on a stalled drive in the red zone by Manning and company.

As an Indy fan, I'm glad the "liquored-up-idiot-kicker" is out of town. I know, he's like the most accurate kicker in NFL history, or whatever, but don't friggin miss in the playoffs. And don't friggin throw your teammates under the bus. Vanderjagt is the T.O. of kickers, he's got the most talent, but also the biggest mouth. Just STFU, nobody wants to hear a kicker say peep. That's why I like Vinitieri.

So, Vanderjagt is in Dallas now? I can just see T.O. and Vanderjagt get into a confrontation. That team is gonna be a mess. Just wait until they have a 3 game losing streak. That team is going to implode. Does Cortez come back to Dallas with Vanderjagt for kickoffs? lmao. Maybe he can pick another fight with an offensive lineman teammate. Good riddance.
