So the Indianapolis Colts have replaced last year's kicker, Mike Vanderjagt, with former Patriot Adam Vinatieri. So is this an upgrade at the placekicking position? Gut reaction is a definitive "Hell Yes!" considering that Vinatieri is quite possibly the best clutch kicker in the history of the game. Yet, Vanderjagt has the highest field goal accuracy rate in NFL history (87.5%, 217-245) and set the NFL record by nailing 42 straight. Plus he's earning less money than Vinatieri, making him possibly a better bargain to boot. So which kicker would you rather have on your squad? I don't think that's as easy a question as one might think...
