    Default Garnet/Marbury reunion?.

Both sides talked about it after yesterday's Timberwolves - Knicks game, won by Minnesota 98-94. Both seem willing. But neither seems willing to change teams in order to make it happen.

And both Garnett and Stephon Marbury said they would be open to being reunited in the future -- although neither seems to want to change cities.

"I've always said I'll be in Minnesota as long as they want me," Garnett said after scoring 26 points and grabbing 15 rebounds in the Wolves' 98-94 victory over Marbury and the New York Knicks. "I don't think I can take another one of these rebuilding stages."

It's been a frustrating season for both Garnett and Marbury, who played three seasons in Minnesota together before an unhappy Marbury forced a trade in 1999. Despite the league's highest payroll, the Knicks are one of the worst teams. And the Wolves will likely miss the playoffs for the second consecutive year after playing in the Western Conference finals in 2004.

Asked if he would like to play with his former point guard, Garnett said: "I have no beef with Steph. I've never had a problem with Steph on the court. ... You ask him, 'Can you play with me?"'

Before the game, reporters asked Marbury about reuniting with Garnett.

"In New York? That'd be great," he said.

    What about in Minnesota?
Well, what do you think? Are the odds better than Garnett joins the Knicks next season, that Marbury winds up in Minnesota, or that neither one actually happens. I'm fairly convinced that Marbury's days in the Big Apple are done, but he doesn't seem to keen on the idea of going to the Wolves.

Yesterday I was gardening for a bit in my back yard and I saw a little worm. I thought to myself, "I probably care more about this worm than whether or not Marbury reunites with Garnett." Stephon's best days are well behind him and they weren't even that great.

Marbury would never go back to Minnesota. He used to complain to reporters every day how much he hated it there. There is a skyway system downtown and he said it was like living in a hamster cage.

Marbury, Francis, and McGrady are three players that will never win a championship as long as they are on the court. And professional dummy Isiah traded for 2 of the 3 and was OK for paying max. dollar for both. Whata moron.

Where else have I not had a perfect post? Most of mine are dead on. If you are referring to Vince Young, I still have not been wrong and have given FACTS. I'm right about this like I'm right about many things. Vince Young will suck. Look at past evidence of "quarterbacks" just like him. I'm right.

I agree that Vince Young will "suck" as a quarterback. I have said so many times, but that doesn't make either of us right. Where you are often flawed is that you for some reason feel it's necessary to mention the race of individuals as if it is some kind of determining factor in their ability, intelligence, physical nature, etc. In light of those issues, I can without recourse declare the majority of your posts imperfect.

If you are entering him in worm races upon which I can wager, then I too will care more about the worm.

Until then, I care somewhat more about Garnett (I go to 10-12 of his games a year).

Marbury, who left us here, cannot fade away soon enough.

I also love KG. My lack of interest in this reunion lies in my distaste of Marbury's attitude and approach to the game.

KG is not without his limits and flaws, but he remains fun to watch.

Seriously though -- you start breeding racing worms, I'm gonna get interested

I don't want to be the one accused of stealing the entire marketshare for women's basketball by introducing the slightly more interesting sport of earthworm racing.
