    Default Your Opinion Please

    Hi,

I am a professional sports handicapper and I just wanted to get some feedback on a Weekly Pay After You Win system.

What would be your opinion on a service that offers Weekly Pay After You Win, which you only pay at the end of the week a small percentage of your winnings?

Also in a losing week we would carry any negative units so the members only pay profits.

Is this a good idea? Would you feel safer joining a service that offers this system? What are the pros and cons?

Please let me know what you think.

As a consumer, I would never consider using such a service. I am extremely skeptical about the tout industry to begin with, and I can handle my own bets anyway.

Basically I would see this as, you are hoping I catch you on a winning streak (which is what all touts hope really). If so, you get paid by me a time or two, but then gravity sets in and the picks start losing and I go back into the negative on my bets - and I'm that much further in the red when I factor in the commissions I've paid.

You wouldn't have a chance with someone like me but there actually are a ton of people willing to pay touts (to my frequent astonishment). Your gimmick sounds better than what most of them offer. It might get some takers.

If you're planning to tell me how confident you are in your picks then my only comment is, then you should also offer rebates for losing weeks. But honestly, if you were that confident, then you should just place bets. Why even waste your time and mental energy in the scuzzy world of touting? It is so much more simple and relaxed to just make your own bets without bringing a screaming public into the picture.

As a mod I strongly discourage anybody from joining a tout service. I wish you luck in your business venture however.

tout services will suck you dry one way or another. i personaly would rather just throw darts at a dart board, than give a tout a penny.

Thank you for your opinions, you may keep them coming.

In regards to selling my picks... why do multi million dollar professional players charge for autograph sessions?... extra cash is always nice, right?

I live off of sports betting and days like today and others that only have night games leaves me with nothing to do until 7:PM, so why not take advantage of the time I have and make a few bucks and help other make a few bucks as well.

However, I am not here trying to sell, I just want to know your opinions.

    miguel here's an idea:
If you want to gain the trust of your potential clients do what JR Miller does. He has a track us page on his site and he posts his plays five minutes after they tip off. I wouldn't consider purchasing someone's picks unless they offered something like this.

The only honest tout system is one where you share the losses as well as any profits.

Otherwise, you are just skimming the wins and voiding the losses.

I think taco edited your post most reasonably as well. I may have been a bit more "honest".

. Get a track record and then you can fleece the herd.

My selections are monitored, but I am not here to sell, I just want to get your opinion on the system. I leave my promos in the promo section, where they belong.

Not to get negative on the one viable option but if you give someone 5 minutes to past-post they should come out with a mighty fine record. But yea, I agree with Newb411breaker; putting a proven product is the only way to go. I'd pay for picks from anyone who could give the play before the line moved

If a player has to resort to using a tout service, you might as well get a lucky coin and just flip it. I think you would have better results.

I wouldnt recommend anyone to use a tout service. So say different, but this is how I feel.

    Good luck.

Wasn't there a thread on here a few months back about somebody doing that and hitting 60%? (Yes, I know, Ganchrow )

    Hi Guys,

This is my second last post, my last post will be today's selections.

My monitored record this year is 174-190 (47.8%) +2257, I am monitored by ProCappers. I like being around 50%, but I am a little below that this year, but there are still 9 months to go.

If you want to see my record go to ProCappers and check out my Premium Picks by clicking on "Records" or "Leaderboard" and you confirm the above record.

Anyways, thank you for all you comments, good and bad.

Today I released 6 selections, with 4 of them being underdogs and the other two are quality favorites. I will post my plays for all in the forum today!

    All The Best!
